Remove your bias, remove what you "think" and replace it with actual facts that has been presented by both the defense and the prosecution and NOTHING about what Zimmerman did was illegal, regardless of your "feelings" or "opinions"
Speaking about facts, maybe next time you should read what you're replying to there, derpster.

guess we'll find out.

how easy it is to forget the rash of stories over the past 2 years about the "knockout game". you know the one, where the black kids video tape their buddy on their iphones sucker punching homeless guys, women, elderly...
I haven't forgotten, seeing as it happened to my dad, and would have happened to me if I wasn't carrying a knife.

Could be in one of the cities where the Bloods get initiated in by butchering a random person's (usually a white lady) face with their knives.

It is sad that a case is so one-sided that only a troll at this point could really believe that GZ should be convicted. I would say that maybe we are all just biased for some reason, yet we have people from the left and right in this thread. At this point, literally only Numbers thinks he should be convicted of anything.
You would be shocked at how many people I work with you think he is guilty. Of murder, not manslaughter. The only guy who agrees with me is an extreme right winger who is probably a white supremacist.

Been having the same interaction at work. The funny thing is it's an emotional response thing. They haven't even followed the facts of the case. He's wrong because A. He had a gun B. The police said to stop. That is their entire point. Also i'm racist and prejudice because I believe otherwise.

Yeah, I guess I just can't see how anyone rational can look at the facts that we know and think he is guilty. Yet I am sure you are right. I was actually tempted to poll my class on the subject after I heard 3 of my students talking about it, but then decided that would be a bad idea.

Even if that does happen, there has been enough of an outcry to maybe see things change for the better in the future.
When did you become such an annoying douche? I would like to follow you down the street and ask you.

Unless you teach Civics or Criminal Justice or something like that, you'd get fired.

Most people are still about as informed as they were the day this story broke. At least they seem to be, anyway. All they know is "Fat White Man Kills Innocent/Sweet/Helpless Black Teenager for Stealing Skittles."

Man, when the OJ trial jurors reached a verdict the teacher wheeled a TV into the class. That was for Humanities (bullshit history fluff). I lost a few bucks better with people that The Juice would be found guilty.

A vast majority of people who think he's guilty are those who look at the fact he had a gun and a little boy was unarmed. That's it. That's exactly what the state argued, the emotion part of it. How can this man kill this boy, he had skittles? It's only when you look at the evidence you realize they have no case and for the most part haven't disproven anything George has said.

But for most people, he got out of his car, he said fucking punks, the child only had skittles, fry him. To hell with the actual facts of the case.

I love how 17 is suddenly an innocent little child that needs protection from evil adults but as soon as they commit a crime they are tried as adults and the state is itching to lock them up for life.

If Trayvon had pick pocketed a pack of gum from that convenience store you can bet those same prosecutors would be trying to bump him up to adult status.
