This definitely helps with continuity and is certainly better. I just don't think it makes the show jump from pretty good to one of the greatest things to ever grace television.

Agree its not "great". The cast is amazing and the show is really fun to watch.

The first half of the first episode of Firefly is the worst thing I've seen on TV until SJWs were invented.

It really takes off by the end of the episode and it's amazing from that point onwards.

Justice League was always doomed to be shitty but I think Whedon did an especially shitty job with it. A 2 hr Snyder cut would have been bad too but probably not as bad as what Whedon gave us.

first episode of Greatest American Hero was pretty awesome. there are a lot of great Scifi shows that were great out of the box.
