It really isn't.

It kills usability, they may as well not even have that information displayed because nobody is going to read it. It's an extra step that users need to take to divert their attention from where they would initially start reading from (the left side). This is common information people can, and definitely do use to allow themselves to filter out any users they could not care for reading.

Well we actually did have some help with this one. Descendants member: Dexterade, Veni, and Excidium (recently of TFO) joined us to kill Vulak'Aerr tonight.

We got akkirus mask, jaelen's katana, priest shield, priest vambraces, and 3 ancients.

ST keys are still very rare. We likely won't be in there until next week at this pace.

Since this is a custom server, I'm wondering if the devs will reset ST after someone let's the Sleeper loose? There are arguments both ways, but as someone who still has chars in their 20's and so far away from raiding Velious it isn't even funny, obviously I would prefer they reset ST after a Sleeper event to at least allow the Wardens to spawn so their drops aren't only obtainable from the casino. However, I fully expect it to be like Live where once the Sleeper is awoken, the Wardens are gone forever.

This is the kind of thing that boggles my mind about these designers. I give feedback on the custom spells they added to velious. Wizards get really OP shit that beats luclin spells, shamans get slow+cripple (which is partially broken) and some nuke upgrade. Paladins get a +10% self only xp buff and a brells buff better than brells. I asked them to change the XP buff, among other things, because it is easily the worst custom spell they added. I get this:

We had 30 people and 4-6 manastones on Vulak. Manastones trivialize mana regen like nobody's business. Even having 5 groups is very large on this server, and it was just barely enough for Vulak. Vulak and Avatar of War aren't remotely tuned for small group, and they necessitate manastones to even consider it.

My thread on the subject is full of people protecting their manastone like it's hard to get one and they're in some special club. I'm asking for HPs to be reduced so fights don't take a manastone to not be OOM at 70%, but no, we should apparently all camp seafuries and win/buy manastones to balance ourselves against "small group" content. Also if you're not already wearing all the gear from the mob you're trying to kill then you're undergeared for it and shouldn't complain about manastone.

Your post gave off a vibe that you wanted the manastone nerfed, nothing regarding the actual encounters. Even I was confused by that thread

btw, for those that were curious...

I did a quick and dirty parse comparing NToV weapons with proc daggers. The NToV weapons pretty much destroyed the daggers. I'll post numbers after I do a 20 minute parse of each.

To be honest, the numbers were so lopsided it wouldn't surprise me if epics outdid the proc daggers now. Will do parses once the server is back up/I can actually get into EC.

I'm in agreement with you. Glad I rolled 2 wizzies lol. Maybe the devs have some personal resentment towards paladins but in my opinion they are the red-headed stepchildren class of this server. Just roll a warrior bro!

Any European (or people who play Euro times) thinking about rolling and not sure there is a strong group of Euro players in Europa. Regularly around 18 of us which is enough to raid most things in Velious. Can get you geared and flagged up pretty quick, just send a tell to anyone online!

They changed the XP buff to a 20k LoH on a 20m cooldown. I assume it's still self only, but I'd rather have received one of my suggestions. We'll see after the reset.

On live, paladins can do some very significant fast self-only heals on a 3m cooldown, iirc. 20k is very very high. A top end velious tank might get to like 7.5k fully buffed. I assume 8.5k in luclin.

I really hope the devs take another look at the high-end Velious raids. Going away from the "small group" progession experience will really ruin the fun of this server. Sadly, I think the devs have moved on to Luclin since that is where the high-end guilds are now. Sad that it seems they are headed in the direction of larger group raids.

The vulak ring was always tuned for luclin anyway. That being said, It would be nice to nerf vulak a bit on KP emu I think.

Either that or we need to l2p our box clerics better.
