I feel like that would have been a good pm.

I really dont have any sympathy for people who rip others off of RL $.

Add to the fact, the name gets directly linked back to these forums.

You have to consider, Friday is a relatively well known player who can be a bit of a troll. He's also been a long time member of one of the servers major guilds. This makes him an obvious target for the other major guilds on a server with arguably the most over the top EQ drama of all time.

The person in the thread didn't post evidence linking this to Friday, they just said they found it via that email. My search for that email only brought up the red guides thread itself.

Does this totally exonerate Friday? No. But I mean he's a fellow forum bro and our guild mate. I think for those reasons alone I would have spoken to him personally before I spread this potentially false public trashing from a forum that is operating outside the bounds of P99 rules already.

Personally I hope he didn't do it and I'll tend towards that until I see some good evidence.

Ah lol I just saw this. That is definitely not me. I'm not even playing on 99.

Ask anyone in IB if I'm even playing and they'll say no. I literally have nothing of value on that server. Beyond that there is nothing else I can present, other than character witnesses, to exonerate me. I'm not into ripping people off.

What is going on over at kildrukaun? Disturbed and Phlox both banned?

Distubed was banned for deleting some of Ohlov's characters, who was suspended for using Disturbed's accounts in a way Disturbed didn't desire. Why neither of them changed their passwords before/during this exchange I don't know.


We took 15 people into Sleeper's Tomb tonight. Keying for ST is significantly more onerous than it was on live as the drop rate for talismans is low. We killed Master of the Guard and The Progenitor for our first avatar weapons. Sadly the items are "ancient prismatic" here rather than "primal" but the stats are identical.

Still tagging noobs and backflagging wherever we can. Y'all should join us.

Lol @ Disturbed getting banned. That's two times on this server.

btw, showing about ~8% increase in DPS from avatar on my toon. Not bad for one drop.

This server is a blast. I'm currently playing with a RL friend that played the game when EQ came out in 1999. We are loving the way this server is balanced. We are each boxing 3 chars. I have a war/clr/mag and he is boxing an ench/shm/bard. We are working our way through levels and getting close to being ready to hit the first planes. Really looking forward to hitting Naggy and Vox soon also.

You guys should hit up some of the TFO guys sometime if you need help with flagging. Most of the members are RR bros.

We (Descendants) went into ST last night as well with about 20 toons. Cleared the whole place. You get "primal" from the Warders, "ancient prismatic" from the others. We also got the server first (we think) Sceptre of Destruction that wasn't from a casino! LOL

"Usually I'm not one to call out people publicly by Name, but given everything that has occurred in the last 10 days these issues need to be Addressed right now. After declaring that account security was the responsiblity of the players on this server, one of those players who had access to anothers account (Disturbed) decided that he would flaunt the rules and delete another player's characters. Now by the EXACT letter of the law, yes this is not our issue, we did not restore anything, nor will we.

Deleting another player's toons is one of the highest forms of griefing possible. As such we have issued a permanent ban to Disturbed, effective immediately. He had previously been banned, but we gave him a second chance. This is in direct violation of his "probation" if you will, and as such there will be absolutely zero discussion on this issue.
Account Security is YOUR responsiblity, what other players do while on YOUR account is YOUR responsibility, but if you have access to another players account - the person who does harm to that account is liable for baning as well. There is no immunity from prosecution, no second chances, zero tolerance. I am sick and tired of dealing with this Bulls**t drama, and If i have to deal with anymore, it will not be pretty.

I am an incredibly lenient guy, and generally more than willing to give people a second chance (I myself have been handed more second chances than most people deserve), but when you break the trust I had in you, there is no mercy. I want to be as clear as humanly possible about it.

The reason it took the dev team and myself so long to come to a conclusion on this is because it is a heated issue, that clearly has multiple sides to it. So we are laying down the hammer across the board. The following player has also received punishment for their actions involved in this entire episode of Drama:

Ohlov - 1 Week Suspension and removal of Luclin flags on his Characters: Ohlov abused access to another players account, abused our backflag system and went out and flagged a large group of people. He has been handed a 1 week suspension, the Luclin flags from his characters have been removed, and his raid Quest has been reset to the beginning of Velious. We are doing this because,
1) He abused the system, and while there were no explicit rules against it, its a cheap way of getting around content.
2) The drama that has been caused at this point is double sided, no one person is guilty and based on logs he is just as guilty as any other party in regards to drama, flaming, and griefing that, as stated int he quote above, is against the server.

We are treating this as we did Disturbed's initial baning, a 1 week suspension, and you will have a second chance."

I guess that's the last we'll ever see of Disturbed on these forums.

I'm giving in and starting up on the server tonight after the walking dead. I'm 99% set on chanter but rogue is something I've never really tried out either. If anyone has some stuff laying around they wouldn't mind giving up, it would help me greatly while I try to solo with my shitty chanter pet. Will be by the name of Nylab/Orcus/Balyn if you happen to get a random tell from someone. I'm in it for the long haul unless there's some massive dev/gm problem and or cheating that buttfucks the server.

Don't roll a rogue no matter what you do. Caster DPS is king.
