It's frustrating trying to raise ELO. I'm only getting +19 per win, this grind is so slow. I went from 1400 to 1180, back up to 1364 right now.

Haha, I had one on Graves the other night the last enemy player knew I was going to catch him.. he suicided into creeps just to deny me. =[
Didn't really bother me at all but my team went off on him like he'd committed a cardinal sin.
Ya, it is part of the new theme....players get angry when the 5th doesn't consent a penta and give it to the person. Personally I love being that 5th player that denies the penta and my response is always the same "you earn a penta".

haha, i do the same thing myself. I've broken up at least a couple dozen pentas, including a few in ranked games. One I was particularly proud of was a ranked game where I had to flash over the wall and silence someone to steal the guaranteed 5th kill from someone as soraka. Guy raged and quit the game. I know it makes me a jerk, but who on the internet isnt.
As a side note: What program do people prefer to use for capturing videos. I've used fraps in the past, but I'm just not a fan of it anymore, and it seems to be buggy as shit for lol in my setup.
The only other time I got close to a penta someone did this to me. I was on Poppy and my E was 1 second from being off cooldown to finish their ap carry for a penta and scumbag Graves decided to ult her from the back. Both teams tore him a new asshole in chat.

I actually got into a game with HatPerson the other day. Was pretty neat.
I started off pretty terrible, but I picked it up at the end. Our team really came back from behind. I had a clench kill on Cait (she actually flashed over the wall to safety with like 25hp, but my plant barely got off 1 more shot and killed her) and we were able to push for the win. Was probably one of the most intense games I've played in League.

So, I just started playing, went through most of the FTP characters and I'm very much enjoying Sona... My question is, what other characters might be support/caster damage in that same manner that I might like?
Soraka is a caster based support, excellent harass with her silence ( it costs no mana ) also can use her Q for aoe dmg.
Lux is another good caster than can fulfill the support role though its a more aggressive lane
Zyra is another aggressive caster lane that supports well

Ah.. I think you guys are reading too much into his wording. He's a new player, he probably likes her CC/dmg/healing abilities and figures only 'caster' supports get all of that. Taric does most of the same things in different ways. Less damage, way tankier, better at healing one other person, stun only hits one target but used more often. But, he's got a heal, a stun, a passive armor aura and two damage dealing + boosting abilities. Plus, his CC isn't a skill shot, so you don't 'fail' it as much and can focus on perfecting other elements of your support game first.
Plus, since he's a bit tankier and I'm a big proponent of building Aegis/bulwark on him, he's more forgiving for a new player learning support and being in the wrong position at times. He ends up being almost as tanky as a jungle/top bruiser, so you can bait teams into attacking you.. taking damage, healing yourself and escaping while your team beats them up. Sona? No.. she just goes 'splat' late game.

I am suprised to not see many AD blitz. move speed/attk speed steriod on a low cooldown, grab and stun to keep them in range. knockup does dbl your melee dmg etc.Blitz can jungle, although a bit slow as an AD. I also really like him as an AD.
