Right that's what I guessed, she was kinda iffy to lane before too, at least pre 6. She becomes a beast at 6 but meh. She's also a sucky jungler pre 6 so same issue there, she can farm fine but can't gank for shit. Guess that's what happens when your ult is the entire point of the champion and you're shitty without it. Oh well.

Btw what's a good place to find out about the upcoming tournaments/matches and shit. For dota for example I can check joindota match ticker and it shows every matches being played today and for the next 2days or whatever. I guess there's just not many tournaments other than LCS stuff? So I should just checkLoL Esports | 2014 Season?

People complain but I find him pretty playable currently. You can build him nearly full tanky and he still does decent damage and if you get the ice gauntlet thing your range snare lets you gap close and the ice gauntlet proc lets you snare them further and then its just go to town punching them in the face tail grabbing whenever its up and if you are tanky enough its up a lot.

LCS Summer begins next week -- you can go to the official page atLoL Esports | 2014 Seasonwhich shows a schedule and usually has links etc etc. I avoid this mid week because sometimes they spoil the games by putting win markers on games you haven't watched yet.

This is my go-toYour source for League VODs!for all video links and they do a great job of avoiding spoiling games.

Nobody said it was unexpected or unusual that they would do so. I'm just saying that their use of buzzwords like counterplay aren't at all truthful, because there were in the vast majority of cases very easy ways of countering the champion or archetype. I obviously still play the game so it doesn't bother me that much. But I would appreciate if Riot had a section of their patch called "Bronze VI" adjustments or something.

I'm hyped for the Summer Split. CLG has not signed Seraph and Nien is still an option.

I used to be a big TSM fan because of Odd One and Xpecial. Jungle and Support are my two prefered roles, and Dexter / Aphromoo were on fire last split. Easy choice to make.

Fuck Regi. Rush Hour #1 bot lane NA.

I've toggled it a few times but I think between ghostery and adblock sometimes it forgets -- it was frustrating to have matches I was looking forward to spoiled, so I try to avoid that page now.

I wanted to try something new, so I downloaded this game. Played through the tutorial and about 5 matches... lost all of them but 1, died constantly, rarely killed anything but minions. Tried a couple of different champions. Feels like this game sucks. Do I give up now? Is it just not for me? Or should I try another role or what?

Well it's kinda up to you if you like it or not. What this game, and the genre as a whole offer, is a bottomless depth, you will never master the game and you will always learn new stuff. It requires a ton of different skills to play well, both on a group and individual level and requires a very large amount of knowledge. As such it also requires a very large amount of time. Then you have the fact that if you like the genre, you can at will change games and discover a whole new experience even within the exact same genre, because lol, dota2 and smite are so different from each other.

On what you should do though, you should probably take 20mins and research the game a bit. Watch a new player video guide thing, read up a bit on the game. You could also try the game modes that are not the basic one, like Dominion or whatever, which are simpler and more action packed, they're a better entry level gameplay to see if you like the concept of builds and teamfighting.

Nice reply. The main thing I will add to what Pyros posted is that decide what you're looking for out of this genre of games. The brilliance of these games in my mind is that they somehow manage to be amazingly fun, challenging, cooperative 5v5 games, with near unlimited depth at all brackets of skill level. New players vs new players - it works somehow. Pro v Pro - mind bogglingly efficient. The genre as pyros mentioned allows you to leverage a huge range of skill sets. These include communcation, strategic level problem solving, creativity, and mechanical control and interpretation of the game itself. You can and will actually improve significantly faster in these games if and only if you work on as many parts of the package as possible.

The matchmaker in all these games should stick you at around 50% winrate - obviously you will have winning and losing streaks often times that may not even be your fault in either direction. The key tip would be try to find a champ you enjoy playing, and play a bunch of games with that champ if you find it. The games are all very good in their own right.

They had to delete most of the Leagues so my link above is now invalid. Also there is now a Queue time to creating a new League. Assuming nobody else creates a League then Ill create one as soon as it will let me.


Hey guys, so here's the latest on Fantasy LCS:
First off, sorry again about today's setbacks-- we're genuinely blown away by the speed and magnitude of your guys' interest in fantasy, and the last thing we wanted was for our system to struggle like this when everyone's so pumped. We have our team working (as we speak) on a solution to get everyone into leagues and drafts as quickly as possible, but have had to pivot accordingly around a few issues.
Right now, there is a small group of leagues that have completed their drafts, but the overwhelming majority have not been able to do so. Because of concerns around the stability of resuming paused drafts and the login issues we faced earlier, we have to delete any league that did not have a successfully completed draft. We apologize for the pain this will cause, but we need to take this step in order to create an optimal player experience for all leagues going forward. Leagues that completed their drafts should not be affected.
We're currently working on a fix so that we can start allowing some signups and drafts once again, so please keep an eye on the @lolesports twitter account for updates.

I'll propose that the draft take place tomorrow @9PM EST assuming we have a full league by then.
Im open to suggestions regarding time, though. Ill probably be online most of the afternoon/evening tomorrow.
