Never heard of them before this season. Only people on their team I had even seen in soloqueue streams was NintendudeX and DontMashMe. So maybe for the more casual fan (at least until this season) they weren't really on the radar. Plus I dunno if I'd call 2 of the current five players as being the same team in any event. Three if you count MashMe joining just before the change to the GGU brand.

I really hate to be that guy, cause normally I don't care.. but any chance we can have a 2-3 day buffer from mentioning match results (other than in spoiler tags). I wait for the videos to be available on youtube or something, hate watching live streams and rarely have the opportunity to do so anyways. Prefer to let it preload a bit and watch it, so I check the games out within a few days afterwards. The last few comments have already told me the result of the curse match basically.

This thread doesn't talk about pro stuff as much as you would think. There's been big tournaments happen without anyone saying anything about it for days, so I don't always expect a current event to get mentioned and I avoid reading any other league sites if I don't want a match spoiled before i have a chance to watch it. After 2 days, if I haven't watched the match yet, then it's my own bad.
The sports bar analogy doesn't quite work, as it's more convenient for most people to catch a VoD after the event then it is to watch the live stream. Live streams lag, bug out, or happen at inconvenient times. I don't think a 48hr spoiler courtesy is being unreasonable.

I'm fine with it, I watch/listen to the streams from work so I forget that other people can't do that sometimes.
I have a question for you guys. I reccently hit gold4 and because of my hidden mmr was playing games with plat4-5 and gold 1-2 players. I went on a losing streak because I was just not prepared for how drastically the game changed from going to my level to the level I was playing at. I admit, I wasn't ready, but I was starting to adjust when my MMR slipped down to gold2-5 and silver1's. Now that I am playing at my own level again I am stuck in a stupid slump. My ADC(strongest lane) farm is still above the level of the people I play with, but I am having rough games. My midgame and skirmishing abilities have fallen, albiet my positioning is still great. Maybe its my teams are generally playing worse, but I know some of it is my performance. Anyone have tips for breaking slumps?

Buffy, if you are a good adc I main support and would duo some games with you. Was gold in s1-s2(currently sitting silver 1 after losing 5 promotion series). Outside of duoing I don't really know what to suggest - make sure your attitude in game hasn't gone down hill during your slump as that is something that hits me pretty hard.
I don't. They have been playing like shit lately and have had tons of turmoil. While generally I might agree, not in this case. Not all pro sports teams win either and most of them live in mansions....
That would be great, I really need to get back to playing primarily Cait like I used to. As of late my aggressive style lanes have been lacking, but I am still performing well in poke/sustain lanes(hard to believe people suck at that). I also don't mind going support as lulu if you ever wanted to ADC yourself.
Generally when I duo I am very positive because having a second person there is helpful. Playing with one of my plat buddies has taught me that even after disaster, just evaluate the situation and approach it calmly. You can't brute force a win through luck(which is what 90% of players in our bracket do).

Haha, yeah. I say I main support but I really have been playing bot lane since S1 and I have been using a lot of the elder lizard/iceborne ez now. He's so strong in solo queue for the kiting but he really lacks the damage of the other adcs. Then again, he can also solo dragon really easily as soon as he gets elder lizard so if your support pinks it you can flash the wall and take it for free akin to Vi. Add me in game, Buffy: Ba?n(alt+161 for the i).
Some obvious shit - practice strong ADC's if they're not the ones you're used to (you mentioned Cait, she's great in pubs, so is Ezreal, MF, and even Varus if you're good at positioning). If you're blue side, farming those double golems whenever possible is also pretty big, push out the wave to their turret, go back to doubles, then return to lane as it resets. Solo queue ADC is hit or miss, sometimes their team comp can be dive heavy and if your team won't peel, you're pretty much fucked. Duo queue is definitely the way to go like someone else mentioned. I feel you on the MMR curve too, i've had to vs Plat 2-3's from Gold 4 and up.. and the skill increase is definitely noticeable. I've even had a few diamonds in my games, albeit I think that's moreso because they got diamond and then lost a shitton and are in platinum mmr now but whatever.
As for talking about results, i don't mind waiting 48hours either. Bit of advice enzie if you are watching the stream - twitch is in general the worst of the bunch IMO.. try the youtube stream off the league site whenever you can. You can actually go back, pause the stream, and it seems to never lag at all. Once i started watching that stream its the one i prefer. Only thing is it's usually around 45seconds to 1 minute behind twitch/azubu tv, so if you're skyping with someone who also is watching it, they might be ahead of you and start spoiling some engagements.enzie_sl said:
