I feel way more helpless in HOTS if my team sucks.

Seems more difficult to have individual success in HOTS than in League, from my limited experience.

I can't play HOTS. There is no personal power level or responsibility.

True, but if the game sucks your out in 20 and not an hour.

Udyr top, gets dumpstered by malphite despite me getting him first blood, builds triforce blade, dies immediately in team fights, wonders why. We lose game despite me getting first 3 drags and being 5-0-3.

LOL in a nutshell.

I really want to play League of Legends, but the thought of logging in, going through the matchmaking and rolling the dice to see if I get a troll or not and waste 50 minutes of my life makes me not log in at all. #firstworldproblems

Ya'll must be taking up all the trolls then because the last 5 games I have played I have had none, at least on my side.

I am in S4 currently, climbed out of bronze after the worst promos to date... haven't really played much but I dunno, I feel like it isn't as bad as people make it out to be. I haven't seen it as much though in the games I have played.

I had 5/8 matches have an afk'er/dc'er. Doesn't make for a fun game.

I'm S5 right now and I would agree, about every 10 games or so I get a hardcore troll. Just had to dodge a "mid or afk/feed" at champ select.

I've played two games in s5, one had a rage in champ select and the other was a fine game.

To the people who say that trolls aren't as bad as people make them out to be in bronze/silver (probably low gold too), it's probably just a direct correlation to you not playing enough games to see them. Much like how you can go on a 10+ game win streak, you can play 10-15 games without trolls. Then you can turn around and get trolled 5 games straight.

I'm up to about 350 ranked games so far this season now and i've had my fair share of trolls. It took me three promotional series to get from silver 4 to silver 3. In both of my first two series I went 1/1 (no real troll games) and then the third game of the series was troll city. First series third game I had 3, that's right, 3 trolls on my team. In the third game of my second series I only had one troll (picked morgana mid, fed ahri 10 deaths in 15 minutes then afk'd the rest of the game... her entire reason for feeding and then afk was because we didn't ban Bard in champ select (which she cried about because she was on their team before a dodge and they "had a plan" thus bard HAD to be banned. In my third series I got a duo for both games (won it 2-0) who went sion top and jinx adc (I played sona support in the first game as last pick and took her 2nd pick in the 2nd game because the Jinx and me clicked so well and the sion was good top).

Just had a game yesterday where I had a Pantheon Gangplank duo botlane who combined for 1-12 in the first 10 minutes (and of course blamed me for everything as the jungler). Who would've thought pantheon gangplank wasn't a viable bot-lane combo, especially against ashe + lux with an enemy xin zhao jungle!? Had another game a couple days ago where our Malphite jungle gave up (literally stopped participating in any fights or trying to push) at the 11 minute mark when it was like 7-15 on the kills. He just afk farmed in the jungle and ran to the base any time an enemy was within 3k range of him. Had another game in the past week where our Blitzcrank spent 20 of the 34 minutes sitting in the fountain, running out and ulting a wave of creeps, then running back to the fountain until his ult was back up...

I guess maybe we could also just have different definitions of what constitutes a troll on your team but things like this definitely fall into my troll category. I'm sticking with my previous theory though that some of you probably just don't put in the time to get slapped around as much by the troll RNG.

You need to play the game within the game.

Can you queue up and absolutely positively not give a fuck about what happens provided you did your job well? Can you maintain the mental fortitude necessary to play as well as you can regardless of what everyone else is doing and saying? Can you get absolutely shit on for thirty straight minutes and continue to try? Can you get through a game without typing another besides a timer? Those are the real challenges. That's the real game.

Also how trolly people are sometimes depends if they are given what they demand at character select. Some if allowed to play the role they whine for are totally fine in game but if they don't get the roll they want they just erupt and continue to erupt all game long.

Urf mode still the most fun mode they've ever made. Played Bard last night, so damn fun because your journey is like a 3sec CD and lasts 10seconds so you just zooooom around the map. Also like 20sec ult is pretty sweet for catching enemies out...(or trolling...). Also gave Galio a shot because I didn't own him last time Urf was around and man, after like 1 item you just can't die. Max W 2nd and keep spamming it on yourself and you heal for shit loads of dmg, tank turrets all day long. Hell, if you're injuired just pop the shield, jump under the turret for a shot or two and you'll heal back up lol. Ashe can be fun too with 1sec volleys and Global arrows every like...20 seconds or w/e I can't recall, but it was quick lol. TP & Flash are both must haves btw.

There are patch notes too for URF. Like Rumble has his overheat silence removed, Aatrox and Anivia have their resurrection abilities on 60s cd's.

Sona is still the most broken for URF.
