I know some people build Nashors on Diana but I do not, and most pros do not. She is an assassin like Ekko will be. You will not be sitting there auto-attacking. High AP burst is the key here. My Diana and Ekko builds will probably mirror each other:

Abyssal > Morello > Sorcs > (Ludens/Dcap/Zhonya/Void)

New Abyssal is only 30 AP so that's 470 raw item AP + Base + Runes + Mastery + 30% dcap = over 600 AP

New Abyssal and Ludens will be crazy on these AP Assassins. Ekko can W > R > E > Auto > Q for massive Aoe Stun+Dmg + 80 pulsing damage that lowers MR + Ludens proc(s).

I might end up reading or at least skimming through it sometime, but currently I don't really give a shit because I never thought Link was a good player anyway so I don't really care to read his novel. Glad he's gone, pissed they are picking up Pobelter because he's just more recycled washed up NA talent. CLG use to be my favorite team, but I pretty much dislike Pobelter more then I disliked Link so meh, c9 for life baby.

Yea, he is deflecting hardcore. He sounds very immature and cocky. I'm sure CLG has big problems but he acts like he wasn't a problem at all. The team is a mess. It's a wonder they keep making it into LCS. It starts with HotshottGG and his inability to make the right decisions and encourage a team atmosphere. CLG clearly looks like 5 solo-Q players playing together. I didn't need to read Link's 18 page novel to know that.

Link is probably 100% accurate in everything he says about CLG, except the assessment of himself.

CLG will not succeed until they find a strong leader/shotcaller that can unite all 5 players.

I really don't understand why finding a shotcaller is so hard. The coach's job should be developing a super high level understanding of optimal high end play, and you just pick one person to work through that strategy with and let them tell everyone what to do. It's probably as simple as a prioritization chart and a methodical gameplan for each stage of the game you make sure the team adhere's to, with branches for whether you are ahead or behind. League really isn't that complex, and once a team does it enough it become second nature for everyone. That's why C9 has a much better understanding of rotations and how to trade objectives effectively, because they've done it forever and everyone knows how their team works. All these other teams just seem to do random shit and aside from the first four minutes they have no plan whatsoever, some even don't have that as they go into the game wanting a 2v1 and somehow end up 2v2ing. I mean how many times have you heard that shit? How is that even possible?

Monte has said in the past that knowing the right play to make isn't necessarily difficult, it's being able to make that decision immediately during the play of the game.

Damn, PBE is a shitshow. Everyone is so hyped over Ekko (including myself).

Originally they made it so custom games needed 2 players minimum which was fine cause each player could try him out (opposing teams), but now they increased it to 3 minimum so even in a custom game you're going to have 1 person left out.

Regular game modes get dodged immediately as soon as Ekko is picked and queues are long as fuck.

Maybe in a week I'll finally get to try him vs some bots, lol, in the meantime I'm staying away from that clusterfuck.

So I just started playing again casually with a friend and I usually play as Rammus. At my height I was a gold level player in s2 with Rammus, but I haven't played in nearly 2 years. Anyone have any tips/tricks on how to play him? In the last 3 games I've played, people had me solo top, which for me, I played conservatively/defensively, especially since I was laning against a ranged character like Teemo.

Any links, tips or tricks, would be really appreciated!

Don't play Rammus top, he's pretty much jungle exclusive. He has some mana problems now so glacial shroud is good early. Rush homeguards and profit.

He's really good at the moment because a lot of people are playing heaving AD comps to try and counter the tank meta, but against a balanced comp he's a substandard pick.
