Are you playing blind pick normals and/or really low elo (like, bottom bronze)? If not, then it probably was lag if he wasn't playing an unconventional jungler or strategy (buying a ward instead of 2 xtra pots or something similar). It's really hard to die to blue or red on the first clear if you have any help at all or just use smite right off the bat. Hell, I accidentally forgot to get smite once, got a good leash on blue though and finished my first clear at over 50% health.

If you ARE playing one of the modes/ELO range where someone could legitimately be that bad, I assure you that you've probably made just as bad a mistake in a game too (I know I have

). Everyone has an off game.

Game Interface

Loss of Control UI
Loss of control indicators now appear underneath a player's nameplate when the player's champion is afflicted by a crowd control effect
A unique icon is displayed for each type of effect, and a shrinking progress bar indicates time remaining on the effect
When multiple, unique crowd control effects are active:
An additional icon is displayed for each unique effect type
The progress bar represents whichever effect has the longest remaining duration
Icons are removed as their associated effect type becomes inactive
Indicators are visible to the afflicted player, that player's team and the player who inflicted the crowd control effect

Custom Item Sets
Custom item sets can now be created and edited in the summoner profile.
Saved item sets appear as an option in the Recommended tab of the in-game item shop
Item sets can be associated with a specific champion, multiple champions or all champions
Item sets can be associated with a specific map, multiple maps or all maps
Fucking finally

YES!!! Custom item sets, WOO! I had heard about a riot approved mod you could use to edit those, but I always found it when on a different computer then the one I play on and would forget to pursue it.

Yeah they were unranked games I was playing with my brother and cousin. And I make mistakes all the time. I have no problem admitting that haha. After they both died they both go Laggggggg. Which made me think of the retarded LoL troll videos my cousin sends me while he's at work.

I am really happy to see them endorsing pick order. This will hopefully help to solve some annoying lobby related frustrations in ranked play.

I just found it amusing that someone complained about only being able to play 1 role in ranked very well (which to me means they shouldn't be in ranked to begin with). Riot responds saying you can't be banned by being reported for being "unskilled". The problem with that being...depending on how bad they do I highly doubt the team is going to report them as unskilled and instead report them as one of the other ban worthy options.

I wonder if they could develop some kind of "test" for each role to where you had to pass the test in game and show an understanding of each role before being able to play ranked. Just a thought, although I am sure there would be a way to cheese it as well.

If reported as unskilled in more than 10% of your games, then you should receive a steaming poo icon ribbon.

The poo could be removed by receiving positive reviews.

Hey guys for someone who is starting to play LoL any suggestions on what champions to use. I been playing for less than a week. I been using Garen but I would like to try other ones. Co-worker gave me a $10.00 Riot point card and I was wondering which heroes should I buy with it.

I don't know why they don't implement a queue system where you specify the role you want before queueing. Supports would probably get instant games, mid players would have to wait longer. But, that's a fair enough trade off and might force more people to learn support.

Hell, some games we lose simply because multiple nice people are playing one of their worst roles or the communication was just bad. Like, one guy calls mid or jungle, another calls mid or adc.. another says adc or jungle, then no one says anything and finally one guy is like 'oh, I'm only good at mid, please?' so the nice people all switch and one or two get pushed into playing something they are not comfortable at.

Do you gravitate towards a certain play style?

and then I'll queue as support to get games faster and still pick middle because I'm first pick. There would be so many problems with a position queue finder.

I used Ashe and Garen most of my playtime. So I'm guessing a melee class. I'm open to different champions, one with a low learning curve for a newbie. I would like to try an assassin class. I have enough RP to buy 2 heroes.

I'd say save your points for now and keep trying out new champs in the free rotation then buy the one(s) that you really enjoy. And each week there are 3 champs that are on sale for 50%. Can an eye out on them to see if anyone you like goes on sale.

I mentioned that before enzie and many seem to hate that but I suppose you can't please everybody. Perhaps they could modify it and make it to where you have to keep a certain level of play as well to be able to q for that role? So you couldn't be like 5/20/5 over the last couple of games or something crazy like that and just be getting carried. I dunno, just throwing ideas out at this point, they are very deep in their development I am sure though of whatever system they are about to throw at us.

@Nola , I would stay away from assassins for now until you learn the game more. They are very squishy and usually take pretty good positioning to play well.

@Sidian ya I had thought about that and wondered if they could do something to make you be locked in to that role, but then that would mean you can't pick the "odd" supports unless they consider it as that. So I suppose there are probably more flaws than I realized with that system.

I'd recommend checking out gameplay videos of:

Assassins: Kha'zix, Talon, Zed
Melee: Darius, Pantheon, Olaf, Yorick.

There's always waiting a couple more free weeks to get some more time with new champs.
