So, seeing Lissandra get played in LCS a bit lately made me realize how fun she looked to me and I bought her today. Played her a few games, and definitely need to get better at her, but glacial path is a really fun ability. I used to play just mid, but have started playing more jungle/top as I like being the one to initiate for my team so I've been playing more tanky champs. Lissandra lets me do that while playing an AP carry as well, really fun.

Does that happen to anyone else, you have to actually see the champ get played properly before you have any interest in them? The champion spotlights don't show me shit, but seeing a pro play them in a tournament or on stream really shows me what they can do and helps me decide if I like them or not. Even when I play them during a free week, I often don't realize I'm playing them incorrectly so then I make a shitty judgement about the champ. Singed is the most extreme example of that, I just suck with Singed so therefore I've never liked him.

Singed is really about the right build, and the right runes / masteries. If you don't have both, he sucks. Once you have those he's a goddamn wrecking ball that you can't ignore or else your top lane inhib is gone @ 20 mins.

Invertedcomposer has a really great guide about singed should be able to find it on tsm's site.

Man, it's almost the complete opposite for me. :\ When I first saw Lissandras kit I thought it was amazing, picked her up instantly and still have tons of fun with her. Yet there are champions that I see all the time in Competitive that I still don't really care to play much. (Zed, Nasus, Renek, Rumble to name a few). I've played them before but I don't know, guess I don't really care about them. I think the next champion I need to grab is Zac though. Played him during free week and maxing that Jump is so stupid, the distance it covers is just wtfmate.

I usually see a champ played really well and then I start looking into him/her a bit more before I buy. I'm in the same boat. I started off playing support with my bro but then moved on to mid. However I really disliked the squishiness, especially without masteries/runes so I went with top lane champs.

I've been playing Renek and Noc top the last few days. Looking for a few more champs to add to my roster too. I love Renek but I'm not 100% on him. I probably just need more practice timing trades when I have more fury (and get better at CS).

For me personally as someone who plays top lane a bunch, Renekton really is a lot of fun. Overall just a great champ, and really strong early/mid game. Falls off a bit late game but he's still pretty decent. Only unfortunate thing about playing him and a few other melee brawlers top is lately a lot of people have picked up on Elise / Jayce top (they were always good up there, but it seems to be extremely common place now) both of whom pretty much hard counter renekton and others with his playstyle. Can be super obnoxious to deal with.

No, I normally have the right runes/masteries for any champ I'm trying. It's that his kit and playstyle is weird to me. I'm not used to having to run past someone to do my major damage ability.

Singed might not be for you then. Pretty much consists of 3 minutes getting some levels and the rest of the game running around like a madman shouting "MIX MIX SWIRL MIX". I love it.

Same experience here. Or I play low level matches and I play 2-1-2 games and it's annoying.

I've watched a few Droiddruid videos of him playing Singed and it makes me want to play him after a bunch of beers.

I like Cho as he has versatility top and can counter a few mids. He falls off a bit, but remains useful all game.

I'm not that good and I'm rarely stopped with him, so he's got something going on behind those demon eyes

When you play Singed, just think "Should I do this?" If No, do it.

Singed is weird because you are suppose to do stupid shit that shouldn't work on just about every other champion, but for some reason it always works on Singed. Definitely one of the best trolly champions in the game. So much fun to play, especially if you get an early kill or just get an early gank to give you a much easier time in lane. Once you're level 6 though, do whatever the hell you want, because nobody should be able to kill you if you're at least even in lane.

I took a break from ranked LoL for a while. What's the new jungle start strategy? I'm Bronze btw if that matters.

Blue golem in most cases, counterjungling is very prevalent, be wary. Stealing buffs is worth it much more now. You can really deny enemy jungler lots of levels if you can steal their buff... or you will be very far behind if they steal yours. Ive been level 8 with enemy still level 5 because I'd steal buffs. (need to steal multiple times for this scenario)

Play Shaco and do the manly start. Box the fuck out of red, make the lanes help the boxes kill it. Meanwhile you head to blue and box+smite it. Double buffs at 2:20 or so, then go fuck with enemy jungle at one of their buffs.

Was on Reddit not too long ago. Toughest thing is actually getting your lanes to only hit the buff a few times, even in this video that Varus almost stole it.

They are both worth having. They are my #1 and 2 junglers at the moment. I have been using Aatrox a lot now, and I'm 5-1 in ranked with him at the moment.

Here is a game from last night.
