Yeah I understand the theory of why atkspd is good for him.

In any case, I've been playing around with a lot of champs over the last month or so since I started playing LoL. I can only play like 2-4 games a night a few days a week so I don't usually get a lot of time in. However, I'm trying to find a character I really enjoy playing and stick with him for 50-100 games. I've gone from playing Sona/Thresh/Janna as support to messing around with Kass/TF mid to now playing top where I've played Singed/Renekton and now Tryn.

I really enjoy Tryn's kit and I feel comfortable with it. Singed is really fun to play, but I really can't take his kit seriously though. But I think I'm leaning towards focusing on learning Tryn really well.

Annnnyway, I'm a zombie right now due to lack of sleep so I'm rambling. Suffice it to say, I think I'll stick with ls+as^3 for the low level normals I'm playing right now. That extra 10% atkspd at the beginning is too good to pass up.

rage is definitely part of the game. I've been moving from Jungle to ADC and find it less stressful. i like jungle more and feel i can help carry the game better, but you become the target of endless rage of every lane that's losing and you can really feel helpless in some games. I'm pretty good w/ Cait, but trying to get better w/ vayne. most nights i can only get in 1 game, so my playtime is what's holding me back the most from improving. when i do have to go top, my nasus is pretty strong. cdr/tank and i'm unkillable late game. i'd say nasus top is probably the funnest thing in the game for me, but i hate playing him in the jungle.

(the following was added to my post before i realized people replied, lol, moved for visibility)

Note2: I tend to use my Tryn runesets for Aatrox as well, but Aatrox can be built many different ways and does not have to be +atk speed, I just prefer it. So if you use all your IP on atk speed runes you might want to pick up Aatrox who can make use of them too lol. Ideally I would suggest purchasing the more standard runes first since you'll be investing a bit of IP and you'll be able to use them with many more champions but if you really like playing Tryn you should really get the atk speed ones. Up to you though

Since you only get 6-12 games in per week, you will need to invest IP wisely since runes can't be bought with RP. Level 3 Runes can be quite expensive. For now getting all atk speed at level 1 is fine (and preferable) but for level 3 runes you should make sure you will be playing Tryn a good amount cause you might not have the runes for many other champions.

I think I've spend only 1300 or so IP up to this point so I've banked 14k IP for when I can use T3 runes. I should have somewhere close to a full T3 runepage at level 20. I'll be able to crawl up to a second variation by level 30.

Maybe.

I don't use IP for champs.

Yea, I meant IP , fucking league points messing with my brain. Anyway, that's a good plan, pretty much is what I did. I purchased champs with RP that went on sale and got my rune sets in order. You'll need ~15k IP for a Tryn set

18 x Attack Speed Blues/Reds @ 410 each = 7,380
9 x Armor Seals @ 205 each = 1,845
3 x Lifesteal Quints @ 2050 each = 6,150

I strongly recommend getting AD Reds/Quints and Flat MR & MR/Level Blues asap, then work on buying some ArmPen Reds for variation. This is assuming you don't intend to play AP champs for a while, because then you need to focus on a bunch of other shit lol. Also Gold/10 Quints so you can play support when needed. You're looking at another 12k IP and you'll be able to play any AD character in the game.

As long as you have 2 or 3 solid Rune pages you should be good. For the longest time I only had an AD & AP one, hell I think I got to Gold in Season 2 with just those two rune pages. Now I've got plenty but it's just a pain in the ass because I'd rather spend all my IP on new champions, but having to spend it on runes + rune pages is just so anti-fun. :p

My AD page was AD reds, armor yellows, mr blues, AD quints. My AP page was Magic Pen Reds, armor yellows, mr blues, AP quints. Those two setups are enough to get you far enough in almost any role, even jungler. After you have those two setups then you can slowly grab your ms quints, ls quints, gp10 quints, atk speed reds, etc etc etc.

I say you should do this because if you end up spending tons of IP for a basically Trynd only rune setup you are kind of screwing yourself over because max atk speed runes on the other 95% of the champions pretty much sucks.

I have 15 rune pages. Half of them are for Top, the other half are generic roles I get forced to fill.

I almost feel like everyone should post their LKS (or whatever) and link in their sig if you participate in this thread.

Ah are we doing the if you aren't diamond you aren't worth listening to thing? Either way Lolkings mmr is all sorts of whacked and isn't a good indicator of anything since they don't actually have access to riots data. Anyway, as I've said multiple times I'm a gold player who watches league like its a professional sport and has really good game knowledge but weak mechanics. So take my opinion for what its worth.

About LKS. It now just gives you a direct number based on your tier/division/points. Nothing else. That's why when you're in a series it counts 100 points in the lower tier the same as 0 points in the higher tier. So you can play lots of games in a row with no change to your LKS because your LP didn't change.
