That's because you need to left click things with shift down when you have that attack script on. Turn on smart casting for all your abilities (it's better that way anyway). You'll also need to shift left click the map to move and the shop.

I really need to save up IP and grab Zed. That champion is so broken it's ridiculous. Especially in yoloqueue when nobody ever buys zhonyas or qss. I was jungling as Maokai (Prolly my fav jungler) and it was Zed vs Ryze in mid lane. I did a lvl 3 gank mid, Zed got first blood and it was an insane snowball from there. He ended up 1v2ing the Ryze & Udyr (enemy jungler) a few minutes later. 20 min win and he had a good 10+ kills or so.

The amount of damage that champion can do, as well as his mobility by being able to switch between shadows is just crazy.
He's solid right now, and a common pick amongst pros as well.. but he really has a higher skill cap for the person playing him and the person playing against him. If one person's experience with the champ is much higher then the others, they will own the other. For example, If you let yourself get hit by both the shadow and Zed using an ability, it really ups his damage output and energy regen which lets him easily bully you around in lane early. Like, the first time I laned against him, I was more concerned about avoiding him and the shadow didn't really 'register' as a threat to me most of the time. This let the guy harass me real quick by managing to hit me with both shurikens and shadow slashes from him and the shadow alot. It was just bad..

Once I actually played zed and understood the mechanics of the champ better, I got better at playing against him. Anticipating 1using cleanse/qss on his ult, where he was gonna throw his shadow, dodging at least one of his shurikens, etc.. Now I'm rarely afraid of laning against a Zed, but I'm still not very good with him.

Thanks for the advice but is there a way to get what I want? I don't want to have to use shift-q/e all the time. The shop and whatnot works just fine with these scripts, I'm just having probs with q/e.

But not W/R? You don't have smart casting or something already turned on for your W/R either?

Yeah weird no? I haven't gotten to lvl with it yet so no clue on R. I hit the Hmm that's weird wall right away with q/e. I'm new to this stuff and can't see what's going on. tyty.

My thought, you may have those skill still bound to another thing. Not sure how but maybe.

Make a custom game by yourself, open menu and go into keybindings. Scroll down till you find 'smart cast spell 1' 'smart cast spell 2' etc.. make sure they are bound to QWER. Then, go find 'gcast spell 1' 'cast spell 2' etc.. and bind them to like Shift + QWER, so you can still manually cast a spell that way when you want.

Also make sure you get the items too. I missed that the first time around. Smart cast items to 1, 2, 3 or whatever you use for items.

I used to be decent with Cassiopeia in season 2 (soloq), and have just started back up with s3.. it seems she is not getting played at all now.

As far as I can tell, the problem now is that the mid laners are alot more often long range AD's or people with nasty gap closers.

Should I go look for a new champ, or is stick with her?
If she has become niche and a counter pick only, it might be time to move on, and just play teemo instead.

What's the game like these days? I used to play a lot and then stopped fairly abruptly two years ago. I occasionally want to give it a shot again, but then I imagine the surely 30+ new champions and other shit that I'd have to get used to before I would even have a chance to compete on a level worth caring about; and then I think about how absolutely soulcrushing it is to play with/against random idiots all day to re-learn the game. Has anything changed in that regard?

If you stopped playing two years ago then the game is completely different at this point. I will say that I don't really find it that bad to solo queue, though, so if you really want to play again you should hop back in. Play some normal blind pick until you're comfortable with your mechanics, watch some streams, etc. It's a new game.

People at the shallow end of the pool never cease to amaze me in these types of games. But why oh why would you match yourself up against intermediate bots if don't know the first thing about the game?

Switching champion roles so I wanted to practice and thought I could get some quick/free wins against bots. FML, may as well play open, at least people know when to give up 50% of the time there. But against bots? Nope, that retarded 0/18 riven thats still lvl 12 by the time the rest of the team is 18 NEVER surrenders. I got a couple of quick, easy wins, but my last two games were nearly an hour long. The first one we eventually won by getting objectives and had a 0/22 jax, next one was the 0/18 riven and someone else afked I suppose because they were tired of carrying them and we lost.

Now I understand you can get shitty teammates, that is just the nature of the game, but why for the love of God do people who quite obviously and literally know nothing, and apparantly don't want to know anything about the game play intermediate bots? And its not like it was these people'e first time playing and just didn't know any better from some of their responses, nope apparently playing the game to them is spending the first 30m in your jungle and then push lane solo and maybe reach lvl 18 by the 60m mark. Do these people actually enjoy going 0-20+ every game and spend half of their time dead?

Buh... what?? I've never seen someone go worse then 0/5 in a bot game, and that person was clearly lagging horribly.

Since I don't get to play very much and often for short windows of time, I'll jump into a bot game to try the free champs out and get first win of the day. I prefer playing jungle or mid, as I can actually practice something relevant (optimal jungle routes for that champ, or CSing) to real games. Either way, I'm normally ganking and helping other lanes snowball early I guess.

I've won 3v5 bot games when two trolls just AFKd at base, not D/C so the bots kept playing. We had to be smart about splitting the bots up and taking towers quickly, as eventually they can just overpower you with numerical advantage and item advantage. Depending on your team comp, there's times where you literally would not win a 3v5 team fight no matter how good you are.

I'm almost always highest gold earned on my team, often with more CS then the next two people combined, and tons of kills/assists. It's only when someone gets fed early in a duo lane and snowballs earlier then me that it isn't the case. If this isn't true for you yet, then you shouldn't be complaining about teammates, cause with bots you quite literally can carry two completely AFK teammates by yourself. It was when I realized this, that I understood how Diamond/Challenger/Pro level people feel hearing people bitch about elo hell in bronze. Bronze/silver players are as hard to those guys as bots are to me.

Yeah, no, 3v5 at the start, two people afk, would be no issue, it becomes an issue when they are not afk and leeroy jenkins yolo and go 0/22/1. Even with teammates like that I still keep at least a 2:1 kda ratio and it only gets better with better teammates. Maybe it is because I'm still low lvl? probably 75% of the people I ran bots with had less than a .5/1 kda. It was usually me and one other person carrying the team. And like I said I know its par for the course, I'm not bitching about my shitty teammates, I'm bitching about my shitty teammates queing up for intermediate bots when there is beginner bots. I just don't understand why someone would repeatedly que intermediate bots and repeatedly go 0/20+ when there is beginner bots, it just boggles my mind.

That shit happens in my games too. I just follow then in when they do, use them as a damage sponge and get kills. Bots using their abilities/cc on the feeder while you do free damage and get double/triple kills. The moron gets assists at least and if they get enough gold, they win fights just on item power making them OP versus the underfed bots you keep killing, hence why I rarely ever see someone even go worse then 0/4 or so. If they start out 0/2, by the time they get 4-5 assists, free farm in lane, etc.. from me helping, they start killing bots just facerolling their keyboard.

One thing I also recommend for getting used to smart casting is in the more options section of the options menue there is a check box for show targeting reticles in smart cast. What this does is when you push a button down the targeting for that spell shows up and releasing the button fires the spell off. So if you just click and release instantly it goes super fast like normal smart casting but you can also hold the button down to make targeting a bit easier. This helps ween you off click casting and into smart casting while still giving you the range indicators.

Are you below level 30? I found the level 5 players on intermediate bots are horrible, dunno why they are trying intermediate and not beginner. Once you are at 30, you pretty much never have that happen.
