I don't remember which matchup it was but his Gragas was incredible. Watching Hai's Gragas yesterday I just kind of felt sorry for him, he exhibited nowhere near the same level of talent.

The biggest problem with the way worlds are set up is that there just aren't enough teams from each region represented. We get to see a handful of teams play 8 games in a double round robin over an entire week to the point we are sick of seeing them and then the quarters are only a best of 3 and leave a good chance of even only seeing some teams play twice. Teams we don't get to really watch all year because they are cast in different languages (all the asian teams) could be gone after 2 games. I don't understand the point of that double round robin at all, it's cool that teams like Mineski and Gaming Gear can get some experience but why do they need to play 8 damn games? After the first 3 mineski losses I skipped all 5 of their other games because I knew they were going to be stomp fests.
Bring more teams in, do a single round robin group stage and then have a round of 8 with the teams that got byes. It's silly that teams like CJ don't even get a chance to play when they are better than 75% of the other teams that make it, just because they are in a stronger region.

But that's how the concept of World competitions work. Countries are limited in the amount of athletes that can represent them in an Olympic sport despite the fact that some of those athletes that don't attend are clearly better than what another country might be fielding. If you can't prove you are the best of your region before the World Championship begins, you don't go and it's better luck next year.
After 5 promo losses, Bronze no more. I know silver this season doesn't mean what it did last season but I am still glad to finally have 5 new divisions to be able to climb after the "win 3-4 games, lose promo series" pattern of the last month.
To Draegan, i can comfortably play any role, but i prefer mid as i feel i can have more impact on the other lanes. I used to play farm champs like anivia, but lately i have been maining assassin/roam champs. After getting stomped repeatedly by fizz i picked him up and it was an immediate fit. I also like kat. If i have to pick mid first ahri is my safe choice, and if i feel like sniping people i play a lot of lux. I feel that its also important to have an AD mid if you need one, so i picked up Khazix, though talon should probably be on my list.
I picked up kass recently as well, but I'm not where i want to be on him yet so i dont play him much ranked.

I've been playing Ori mid recently and I love playing her. I have Kass and started playing him, I'd like to learn a bit more on him. I still need to get Ahri/Zed to try out. I played Fizz a few times, and I never got used to his ranges. I'll have to play him again.
Diamond5 trolls who got boosted are fucking annoying cunts. How the fuck do you lose to irelia mid as ahri I will never know.

Eh... Doesn't seem like a lane Ahri necessarily wins. In fact, it seems kinda hard to me. Most of Ahri's strengths are countered by Irelia. Tanky, Tenacity passive, high sustain, gap closer, stun... ouch.
Yep. She can go MR early and not drop off, either. Short lane means a normal weakness (no escape) is out of play.
I had a fun experience last night. Jumped into normal Q as a solo and get put into a 4-man premade. Everyone joins the channel and I call mid. Of course the 4 man team autolocks and leaves me in the dust. So I said, ok well fuck you, I'm playing Heimerdinger and I'll do whatever I want. It was like 1am and I didn't give a fuck.
Team comp was, from their perspecitve: Nasus top, Taric (ap) mid, Shen/Cait bot. So I just wander top and zone out my own teammate.
We ended up domoinating, but throughout the game I'm getting harassed. Lol you died a second time to vlad top! (while bot was like 0/3/1) Heimer you suck! (only lane with two towers down)
Team fight phase, heimer really sucks in team fights for the most part. I decide to split push, because Heimer can take turrets down like a boss. Inhib turret goes down, they get wiped in a group fight. "Wtf heimer! Group fight! Why you no listen!"
They try to do baron and run away from group. I take down top then bot inhib. They try to do the same thing yelling at me and I power through to the nexus and they are pining me like a fucking crazy person, we win.
"I had faith in you Heimer!" Fuck you. Carrydonger forlyfe.

I understand your point but there are far more athletes from each country competing in the Olympics, and don't forget, Olympians by definition are amateur athletes. Pros are not allowed to compete (well, for the most part anyway). I'm not saying allow every team in, I'm just saying allow MORE teams in. That double round robin is boring as shit to watch after the first two days are done.

I love when that happens. I remember running backdoor Yi when I was leveling to 30. my whole game plan was to ignore the team and just keep split pushing. I won a game that was like 7-35 or something ridiculous once. Those were the best

Well that's kind of besides the point, I was just using Olympics for an example. World Cup allows one team per country.
The problem was the double elimination round robin, it was a pretty poor format. Whether it's allowing more teams per region, adding more regions or just shortening the time period before the Quarterfinals begin there are plenty of fixes for that problem.
At the same time, it's really not that big a problem. If you find the round robin boring, just start watching at the Quarterfinals where you'll see the 8 teams who have a shot at it compete.
It's incredibly true compared to a lot of champs. Your turrets are nearly one shot late game. Your W does decent damage if you're stacked I suppose, but if there are minions around, GG. Your E is only a stun if it is pinpoint accurate, which is hard to pull off. Heimer is incredibly squishy and slow.
His only play is to drop two turrets, hit R and then zhonyas. Which usually works if you stumble into a fight or if it's mid-game.
You're far better off split pushing or just not playing Heimer at all.

Well i can't remember if i've ever played heimer but like all champions, if you can get fed his rockets actually start doing decent damage. I've seen Heimer carry games before. Problem is it's hard to get fed due to other champs trashing him during the laning phase.
