Support Viktor is almost actually alright. You can do some good trades with his Q and the Gravity Field is really nice in team fights. He's jerky-harass oriented and that works pretty well in some lanes.
What I would really like to see is Viktor updated to share Kha'Zix's evolution system rather than his very awful character specific item. Get to level six, pick an upgrade, bam. Rebalance them a little bit and add one for his ultimate and you are good to go. You combine that with a couple small quality of life fixes like speeding up the return travel speed of his Q so trading doesn't result in you taking damage and THEN getting a shield quite as often and he's decent.
Some kids posted a funny video of Swain/Viktor bot lane. The video was name Swaintrain or something. It made me chuckle.

Blitz + Thresh is fine for punishing bad players as long as you're ok. Wife and I just laned against that duo and they lost pretty bad to our Lucian + Lulu. Blitz rarely landed anything and even when he did we just disengaged and ended up trading even usually. With the latest 'nerf' to AD thresh you're better off going for ADC Lulu + Blitz/Thresh if you want to punish people for getting caught with CC chain.
Holy shit, semi-pro leagues are being formed for season 4.E-Sports will be taking another huge step forward.

Calling it love isn't really accurate. They completely changed him imo, and for the worse. He's just a shittier version of yi/trynd now.
Reckless swing lost a bunch of base damage, gained bad (like .4?) ad scaling, cooldown decreases on autoing things.
W lost all health scaling, is now an ias steroid with lifesteal (and spirit visage effect based on missing health).
Undertow lost damage, has a minimum range, slow duration lowered (especially at shorter ranges) but slow no longer decays.
Ult is 10 bonus armor/mr per rank passive, and bonus AD+cc immunity (at the cost of losing the passive bonuses) on activate.
He's basically just a melee carry at this point with no gap closer.

I think it remains to be seen whether he's better or worse now. He's more even now, he was an all or nothing champ before.
I think new olaf is more powerful, his true damage scales off AD and refunds all the HP it costs if you kill something with it, and the CD gets lowered by auto attacks.

ive seen a few olafs since patch, and they've all been god awful.
On a side note, ive been playing tons of adc rengar. People rage so deliciously hard when you pick it, but its so fun to play. Its even quite hard to deal with. His ability to chase people in lane is far beyond any other character. Characters that are usually really good at disengage (Thresh, janna) cant do anything to stop you from pouncing to creeps fast. His ranged harass and ability to farm under duress are also way better than they should be. A lot of adcs start out extremely aggressive, but comboing two es and taking half their health and being able to jump away is hard for most adc to deal with.
I think a good chunk of my loses come from the pure rage when I pick it. At least 60-70% of my games I have someone who will straight up 3 man bottom or refuse to pick support, or other such actions people think will force me into jungle. I get less rage when i pick shit like shaco mid or teemo jungle.Angry Tryhard - North America - Summoners - League of Legends
Progress has been slow maining adc rengar in mid silver, as its generally the trolliest elo, but I'm still sliding up. I want to see how far I can go maining this.

The old Olaf had this good thing going where you built CDR + tank and were still incredibly dangerous with Undertow resets and 340 true damage Wild Swings combined with CC immunity, free armor penetration, and additional tankiness when you pressed R. He never had a very good win rate because his kit encouraged you to play like a retard but in competitive play he was top tier. World Elite used him to great success in IPL5 and he was nerfed soon after. Personally I think Olaf and Urgot got hammered because they were too strong in the emerging 1v2 strategy. Ever since that started to be a thing Riot has been taking steps to make it less attractive and those two got caught in the cross hairs.
As a side note after IPL5 there was a champion and skin sale for WE's winning comp of Ezreal, Olaf, Diana, Nunu, and Lulu. Everyone except Lulu got hit with big nerfs. Ezreal lost his attack speed debuff on Essence Flux, Diana got full dumpstered, Nunu was told he could never be a support again, and Olaf got full dumpstered. That sale was the Kiss of Death.
The new Olaf might be better than he was the week before but I will be very, very surprised if he turns out to be actually good. For scary AD melee types he's competing against Jax, Tryndamere, Aatrox, Irelia, and Riven. Heavier on the tank side you've got Shen and Renekton. I can't see a reason to actually pick Olaf other than you like playing Olaf. It's also kinda shitty for him that Jarvan is so popular because if you take Ghost you are going to get stuck in a Cataclysm while J4 splits the scene.
Competitive is the place I'd look for Olaf to do something. Trying to predict if something is good or not when piloted by an amazing player in an organized environment is pretty fucking hard. Pick him in a 1v2 when the enemy has Vi maybe? Throw max range Undertows to CS and farm under turret with health refunded Wild Swings?

I loved playing Rengar during the free weeks. Finally on sale and I'm going to be playing him some more now.
I haven't really looked at the new Olaf, but I played with one the other night and he was useless.

No one ever performed well on Olaf outside of competitive. He has has always maintained a terrible, terrible win rate.
edit - had a game today where everyone was really, really worried about Riven vs Olaf. Oh nos, what is Riven going to do? Olaf wins that matchup!
Well maybe Olaf does but that one didn't. Riven going up 2/0 by six minutes should be an alternate win condition.
