Just had a game where the entire enemy team invaded blue. My mid and top laner pretty much bailed and went to lane because we couldnt fight it.

Anyone have any idea what I could have done in that situation? I was pretty much screwed after that and nearly died soloing red at lvl 1, had to base twice clearing etc..

Keep trucking, farm til your caught up, hope your laners take advantage of the fact that all 5 of their players were busy invading your blue at level 1 and press their own advantages into their favor. I'm guessing you wasted your smite and/or were low on health because of the invade but didn't back before you tried to continue your jungle.

Take all of my advice in LoL with a grain of salt.

What type of invade did they do?

1. If it was an early invade (i.e. they came in as 5 before the mob spawned), the proper play is just to retreat when you see them and take their blue. It helps if your laners scout the entrance to your jungle, but even if they dont, there is no way you should be killed when they come in (unless there is a Blitz on their team, then you DO need scouting to prevent it). Your team will come out ahead on this because the far laner will get back to lane late, giving your player an advantage. To maximize the advantage, ping the map right away and tell him to push to the tower so minions get eaten.

2. If it is an late invade (i.e. they came right at 1:55 instead of early) and they stole it, don't sweat it too much. You just won 3 lanes to give up your blue. Every lane will ding 2, 3, 4, 5 and most importantly 6 before their opponent. HUGE advantage. If they are a slow jungler you can try an race to their blue, but I usually just go about my business and go B after 4 instead of ganking after 4.

Either way, your team should come out ahead if they invade you. Even if they pick up a kill on the invade, it is typically only a wash as far as the power curve goes.

Edit: Khane said same thing in less words.

Yea it was an early invade, for some reason the top, mid, and me tried to fight them and had to run. Should have done the invade on their blue. That was the first time I've encountered an entire enemy team just waltzing in to take blue like that.

You shouldn't see much of it. Because of how nerfed first blood gold is the invade is vary rarely worth it for the invading team. Basically they trade huge lane advantages for a possible buff and maybe a kill that barely nets them an extra pot on their way back to lane. Also now that you know what to do you can counter even the small gain they made by just taking one of their buffs to start and plowing on as normal. Before the vision changes and the xp changes on the jungle camps invades used to be worth it, so you learned how to deal with them very quickly as a jungle for most of season 3.

The fact that you were blue side and their bot lane was not in lane should have given your bot lane a very big early advantage as well. Try to think of things like that in terms of overall team advantages and disadvantages as Vimeseh said. Sure you were a bit behind but your bot lane was probably WAY ahead and could bully the shit out of their bot lane. That in turn puts a ton of pressure on their jungler and leaves you open to interpret the matchups and map as you see fit. All things being equal it should actually help you gain an advantage in the jungle overall. In my very inexperienced, stream champion opinion.

They didnt. It was a clusterfuck, then again I'm bronze so I have zero expectations when I play a match.

Been trying to get better at jungle, just took my main champ tryndamere in jungle and was quite pleased at how well it worked out. I'm able to spin right on top of people from bush then slow them with my W. After laning phase I was able to split push fast and solo dragon between team fights with ease.

I'm torn as to which item would be best for his first buy. If I get machete most builds say to buy wriggles, but it feels like such a shit item. Elder lizard isnt much better. Wondering if I should just start LS instead of machete, and go right into vamp scepter.

I'd probably just go Elder Lizard just because iirc Trynds E is physical damage so it would actually proc off your spin.

Honestly the clear speed, the extra gold and the sustain (although you're trynd so you don't reaaalllly need it after a few levels) help so much.

Jungle Trynd I'd probably just go SotEL > BF sword > shiv...I'd think? I dunno, haven't really played trynd in the jungle for a loooooooooong time lol.

Make the claw for wriggles but dont finish the whole item then rush Shiv in to BotRK if you are jungling Tryn. You can pick up the vamp sceptre before finishing Shiv if you really need too but your Q should keep you healthy in the jungle. Also Elder Lizard is amazing on a lot of jungles right now. I just wouldn't put it on tryn.

Jungle is just a painful experience at low elo unless you focus on improving your own game, learning timings and figuring out how to press your own advantages. Every single lane is going to blame you for them losing. Back at the beginning of S3 I was playing a lot and mained jungle. It actually made me quit the game for a while.

Yes. A few games ago I successfully ganked every single lane during first 3 attempts. The ones that were ahead from my first gank were already bitching that I quit helping them as I ganked the other lanes. Jungle requires a high skill of ignore others.

I think I just hit the record for waiting on solo q match. Each Q lasted 2 + minutes and 3 dodges in a row during last few picks

Ya, I started in S4 at silver 3....skipped silver 2...then ran up to promo's in silver 1 quick. Made things a little easier by q'ing with my bronze friend and blazed through my promos to gold.

I'm to the point where I might just ban gragas 100% of the time because for the past 3 games I've had insta-call gragas mids and every single one of them has blown fucking ass. "OGN is doing it so I can!" Then they can't land their Q, their ults blow and they get out farmed. LIke, wtf how? By the time you're level 5 your Q pretty much 1 shots the whole caster minion backline. ffs. Piece of shit players.
