Yea I had expected Diana based on comments made by Iron Stylus months ago, kind of surprised. That is surely Morgs face though, so unless they're being dicks and showing that as a "Master" teaser when the real skin is something else, Victorious Morgana is go.

The ear & eye paint obviously make it Morgana, but I was hoping it would have been Ashe, Syndra or Diana. The face and headdress made me think Ashe initially but the elven ears are clearly Morg.

There's other characters with elven ears, and even Morgs ears look different in some of her splashes. The hair and the "tear" makeup are the strongest evidence considering those are both unique to Morg.

That dude looks crazy and crazy fun to play. Looks really fun to play. Gnar was fun to play too (still is) but he lacked the strength to really make a difference.

He is certainly going to be interesting and if he is going to work like I think I feel like he will have a huge skill gap for bad/good players. I like it, can't wait.

Yeah, he looks like i'll be terrible on him, but be forced to buy him after watching some pro's destroy with him in solo queue.

Oh, and it is a few days old now, but the T8 vs. CA match was a lot of fun from this weekend. Highly recommend giving it a watch - or speed view at least.

So I started plating LOL again, and started messing with Braum. I'm like 60% win with him after 20 games or so. But I REALLY don't get this guy. It's as if I must play defensively with him at all times, and wait for my lane partner to make a move. BUT when I don't play aggressively, I get hammered by same lane partner for not spamming my Q. I spam Q I have little to no mana for shield. You really must pick your spots to go on the offensive with him. I do fuck up and swing that shield in the wrong direction a few times a match I must admit, but I'm pretty good with it. It's as if I must really take my time with him. I can't react quickly like I do Leona. Maybe comes with rust and some practice.

I build him very tanky with HP's being my priority. Do I get that lens or the ward to start btw? I get more value from the lens since we pretty much stay on the defensive till level 6 on my end.

The shield it seems blocks any damage which I love, but I still get snare effects. I'm cool with that.

Any tips on play style and build would be appreciated.

If anyone is interested in somewhat more competitive play, there's a group called Victorious Gaming that run daily tournaments for every rank. I don't have any affiliation with them, but I've done two tournaments so far. It's a very smooth experience, as they have almost everything automated (teams are created and evened automatically based on MMR).

The only warning I would have is that if you go all the way to the final 4, you'll likely play atleast 5+ games, so be ready for a decent time commitment. Tournaments start at 7PM EST, and sign ups open at 6PM EST.


First prize for any bracket is 3,800 RP (that's what, $25-$30 worth of RP?). Fourth place still gets 800, if I remember correctly.

Cool, never heard of this, I might need to try it sometime. I've always wanted to do a tourney or even just be in a 5v5 team, but typically my play schedule doesn't match many others so I've avoided trying to be on a team. This seems better if I can just sign up as a single one day when I have a boatload of time.

Yea, there's not a lot of places on the map where it blocking enemy dashes will matter since they can still dash over the terrain next to the ult. Still nice though. Plus apparently it counts as solid for condemn/poppy e/whatever else which is going to be super hilarious sometimes.

Yeah, Azir looks super fun. Especially with 40% cdr and level 18. The passive turret might be helpful too depending how well it scales. If it can hold off a super minion wave or two could be very nice for defending. Or just throwing it on a tier 2 enemy tower to keep the wave pushed. I think I'd like his ult better if it didn't push the enemy back first, because then you could somewhat "trap" the player you're trying to kill.

Either way, he looks like a blast! Might actually buy him on release day instead of holding out like I always do til they drop to 6300.

I think the best use of Azir ult will be just like a stronger Anivia wall: separate the enemy team. So push their tanks away from their squishies or vice versa, overpower the isolated targets, and run through the Azir wall with the speed boost to chase down the rest of the team.
