Depends. Mostly the way it works is that chaos dungeons are bound and chests/other sources are not. Shards are ALWAYS bound - harmony in T1.

Chaos dungeon mats are largely unbound, until you run chaos past your first 2 runs then everything is bound. Bound stuff is mostly tower rewards(besides first clear), abyss dungeon rewards including the additional chests you pay for(which is usually an insanely good deal considering mats price), quest rewards(doing story and doing normal dungeon first clears and such) and una task rewards. Most of the other stuff is unbound, so doing chaos+guardians net you mostly unbound mats you can funnel into other chars, or into the AH. Also stuff you buy from vendors is not always bound, for example pirate coin mats are unbound(the shards are bound however even if they come in bags, the bags themselves are bound).

That sounds like a weird number considering how many ppl I see in T2, but I guess there's definitely hundreds of thousands of ppl who made an account then quit during the leveling.

Just to be clear, the chaos vendor currency is shared, so as long as you keep it stacked in your roster storage, all your characters will have access to all of it.

It's still early enough that re-rolling is a viable option. Raid isn't out yet and if you'd like to play with us (we have groups running consistently and help for most things) than this would still be a good time to do so.

For god sakes - get the song from Harmony Island. The island should be popping today - so make sure you get it. Was scrounging for weapon stones after 6 fails, finished Azure Island and finally broke the failures and got to 1100. After days of farming mats and failing, I had over 4k guardian, 67 leaps, and like 85 moon shards left over. Will be a nice pay day if it all the tradeable sells. When I was checking prices just for the last 20 weapon stones I had, I noticed T2 weapon stones were selling for like 7g for 10. If I knew they were that cheap....

Well you should do the island, but the song is a random drop, it took me 4 runs to get it, which was the day after I was done with T2 on my main. I'll be finishing the quest for mats for my shadowhunter though now that I have it. Also useful to get free rapport points with Nia and some other NPCs so it's always nice to have, just yeah it's not guaranteed.
Also why didn't you just +16 an armor piece if you had so many guardians? Or you didn't know you could do that? If you +16 armor, it's over 1100 average with 14 weap and you can keep going, you don't technically need everything +15, just 1100+. You can also do +16 on several pieces of armor(2?) and +13 weap iirc. On my main I did both tier jumps like this cause weapon stones suck dicks, so I upgraded gloves to +16 and left weap at 14. It's actually cheaper even, although you have 10% less chance to make it.
