You cant even buy tier 3 accessories? Or is it just gear?
You can buy the accessories, not the armor/weapon. It's really fucking dumb. I got "lucky" and finished my set on the 2nd day. There's a reddit post about some poor ass being cockblocked out of T3 because it's been 5 days of chaos dailies and they still don't have the 1302 gear, missing one piece. It is real fucking dumb design cause who the fuck cares if you can buy the blue chaos dungeon gear, you still need 1100 to buy it just like the previous tiers, you're not gonna jump to T3 instantly, so not sure why they bothered making it like that.

Did anyone actually work how the different between the tiers in terms of honing material rewards? People keep recommending to do higher, but I haven't seen hard numbers of the difference between the tiers to see how big a deal it actually is. All the sites for this game are low info clickbait garbage.

Main question is, how big an opportunity cost is it to do two of the 3rd level guardians quickly vs spending all night failing on the 4th level, etc.

It's just tier 3 chaos gear. And All those purple tier 1, 2, and 3 Abyss sets. And I assume the 1340 GS legendary set. Which are tradeable in every other region.

The main "worth" of the Guardian raids is getting the tradeable version of leapstones and selling them. You only get a couple extra for each level of Guardian, and every fail is wasting consumables.

It is very worth it to run T2 guardians over T1 guardians due to the price of materials, but yeah within the tier it's not much of a difference, and personally I just do the easy ones. Like in the Feiton group, I spammed the fire turtle or the ice bird, and never the tree or the super robot shit(which I didn't bother clearing until today with T3 gear, I just soloed them to get access to T3 guardians). In Rohendel group I just spam the turtle cause I can get it down in 5mins usually and that saves a lot of time. In the yorn levels I forgot what I did, I didn't stay there long on Scrapper though and on my Blade I'm just doing the first one cause I haven't touched her gear.

I'm also skipping guardians on bard/paladin until I'm full rested, cause they waste too much time. If I get Bard to T2 though I'll do them cause the mats prices are crazy(on EUC the T2 leapstones are 90-100g each, so each guardian kill is like 400-500g), but T1 is just a waste of time and I have too many things to do.

Apparently I'm reading they buffed the hp of guardians in our version which is why they take so long. Fucking stupid changes that would have made sense if they were doing a staggered tier launch so people didn't farm the guardians too easily and had "content" to do every day, but with our T3 unlocked shit, it makes no sense for guardians to take longer.

Sorry, skip Shushire, get to Vern, and just run the 250 ilvl Chaos Dungeons to get your 302 set. My buddy got to 380 and never went and did Shushire ever.
Sushire gives you mats. Not much but still def worth doing.Prob enough for a few levels on all of your gear. And also hes gonna have to go back and do the shit anyways eventually so why skip it? Does not make sense. Sushire can be done in a few hours.

That sounds expensive for a T1 guardian.

I just soloed the annoying ones once I was in next tier. It wasn't so bad solo. Only one that was kinda bad was the shield lion one, I almost ran out of time cause you have to take 1min breaks everytime he does the shield shit, and he jumps around all over the place after cause he's enraged, was pretty cancer inducing.

I convinced him last night, so he's gonna be grinding it out!

I am slowly creeping up on 50. Story seems like ass but the scope is pretty epic and the big battles and shit feel great. But toryuk island was ass, who the fuck wrote this shit lol. Overall though I am feeling pretty addicted.

Toryuk is just typical, "whimsical" MMO shit. And it comes right after the downer that was the end of Luterra/Armen stuff.

I think the idea was to break from the story to show that the whole medieval fantasy setting was only for Luterra and the rest is widely different, that's why you get the Liliputian island, then Medieval China and then Cyberpunk 2077. I didn't really like Tortoyk but it was an interesting thing to throw into this type of game. It's also ironically more relevant to the lore in the content later on than a lot of other things.

But yeah the story is not great. There's a few good bits here and there but it's largely forgettable and mostly bland(even when they try to mix original ideas). Luckily the game is about more than the story.

The one thing I did like about Toryuk was the dungeon where you are tiny and trying to escape the table top - that is a concept not used often in MMOs and it was pretty cool

Are you on Regulus? Just reach out to me on Discord for any T1/T2/T3 Guardians. No gold required.
Will do the next time I get stuck! How are the Tier 2 Guardian raids, do they keep getting more complicated?

The inspiration for each area looks as though some of them come from AAA single player games. Tortoyk is "Little Big Planet", Stern is FFVII, etc. Not saying that those are the storylines you get, but the theme of the area. Yorn's great castle is basically Iron Forge from WoW. Cant really place the others but Im sure that they havent deviated too much from that whole concept. Feiton capital looks like it could be from a Dark Souls / Devil May Cry theme? Im sure someone with more game knowledge can place a lot of them.

Depends on who you ask - I thought T2 Guardians were easier than T1. But I feel like combat really started to "click" for me in T2? The Abyss dungeons in T2 are only hard cause you have more people. The mechanics in T2 Abyss dungeons for example, if you know the mechanic - you can outright avoid any damage. But in T1, the first boss in Phantom Palace - she could warp to the wall and then do her pizza AoE and you're just forced to take that damage cause the safe spot was in the fucking wall. Its like they figured out that they should reward good gameplay and not make you chug potions arbitrarily.

Quick update on the guild:

We should be reaching level 5 shortly and unlocking 2 additional invite slots. If you're level 50 and enjoying the game, please reach out for an invite. If you're presently in the alt guild, take note there's a 72 hours lockdown before you can join (so leaving now after confirming for an invite would be best!). Just a quick note that the restriction from a level standpoint stems from the access to additional materials.

If you're on the more casual side, just hop into Discord and request an invite to the alt guild. Several people can invite and should be able to assist.

Lastly, if you're on US East, we also have a chat open that can be accessed provided you're there. Similar to the above, just ask for an invite in Discord with your in game name.
