I'll be honest, I've never watched Sex and the City, and only maybe 1-2 episodes of Friends. I just remember a Kevin Smith podcast where he was talking about the apartment and how they realistically could never afford it. I figured that fit right into this already silly conversation.

Being the dude that obsesses over the WEENIS pays. Looking back on it now you've got to think that Chandler was a hedge fund manager. The real question is how did Ross get a permit for a pet monkey? And if he didn't have one, why was he not tossed in jail for animal cruelty? And how the hell did he afford ANYTHING, being as that he as a palentologist who worked at a museum.
Is that [Sylvia] the girl from Freaks and Geeks who is cheating on her doctor husband with Don? I can see why she's cheating on her husband because he is a chode. But Sylvia is a very attractive female.
I think you just summed up the storyline of why Don was so infatuated by her.
I think you're right. I seem to remember that in the early seasons they really weren't sure if they were bringing the actress for peggy back or not. Which makes me think that the initial story for her ended at the pregnancy and how that choice destroyed the career of many a pioneer (and being Mad Men, the relevant parallels to modern culture).
I think so, yeah. I think his little thing with Pete was just a ploy to get under his skin.
