So i was rereading ToG and got to the point where Bam explains where hes from etc around chapter 54. So now that im rereading im posed with the question of who the f are Bam and Rachel? Bam was locked underground from "birth"? He just came into existence and was locked deep in a cave and Rachel miraculously let him out? Its been so long since i read the first portion of the series i completely forgot the origin mystery. Then again this may be explained further if i keep reading since i initially binged the fuck out of this.

Bam mentioned that he was trapped in a cave and he made a pile of rocks to reach the light at the top but then he discovered that someone purposely sealed him in there. Then one day the seal opened and there was Rachel who then told him things and became his everything. They spent alot of time together and she told him about how she wanted to reach the top of the tower to see the sky and stars. This is from what Bam himself said around like chapter 54 or so, in either case im just wondering his true origin and hers because it doesnt really explain how he came to be and how she found him.

She may have not let him up, but what is up? Between him being kept in the darkness sealed up and her visits what is the area between that light in the sealing and the tower door? Where was she prior to going in the tower and seeing Bam? Why was Bam sealed underground to begin with? I am just curious how/when these answers will come - but they may have already so i will continue rereading.

Yeah alot of mystery and intrigue there. Also remember how he first controlled Shinsu early on when Rachel was threatened, i believe Lero Ro said it was if they Shinsu protected him on its own.

Lots of other things im noticing while rereading, lik Yuri talkin to her NEET sis about finding Bam and her sis then saying how the Prince of Jahad is going to come back. If you remember the assassin rin also said they wanted to give him the symbol of the 3 eyes but not till he became a ranker.
Furthermore Bam was not supposed to be an irregular, he was chosen but was on top of Rachel which pushed her through into the Tower only to not be chosen. Then Bam opened the door on his own which incited that jealousy from the cunting whore. It seems like Bam in general was being waited for by FUG and they from the getgo didnt want the Jahad royals to know he was in the tower which further makes me believe he was deliberately put there. The talk of the royal symbol being given to him makes me wonder if he was possibly a bastard son of someone who was locked away instead of killed like Anaak.

Baam and Rachel went through the door at the same time, but arrived before the Guardian at different times...plot. The whole Prince of Jahad thing has been ambiguous due to Wang having a ring with the Jahad symbol, and the red-haired Guide stating that he (Wang) was the Great Families biggest mistake. I've also been curious of just how much FUG knows about Baam/Rachels past. The Guardian allows Rachel to move on, and introduces her to FUG...so they must know something more than that Baam is an Irregular.
It makes sense now why Rachel went into the Submarine with Koon, but didn't take the chance to kill Baam. She needs those prisoners more than she needs White, and she knows Baam will try to save everyone.

They did not go at same time - Rachel went in first and she was put into a silent cave by Hadeon when Baam arrived as shown in a flashback chapter - Hadeon told her she was not chosen and she was not the one the tower wanted her called her a dirty girl - When Baam opened the door on his own to come in he sealed Rachel up and had her watch Baam go charging at the sea fish or whatever - Baam went up a floor first and Rachel went to meet FUG.
As stated the only reason she went in first is because Baam was on top of her and however it sucks people in it took her and not him, this is the only way it makes sense how Hadeon says she was not chosen and wonders why shes there.

Rachel is never mentioned as an irregular, she's just there. In fact in the beginning when Yuri runs down to the 1st floor, she says an irregular has appeared, lets see him! (to her guide), you'd think if she knew 2 irregulars came in, shit would go down, but no, she only mentions him, whom is obviously Baam.
I'm thinking when Baam is on top of Rachel, she's muttering all this "i need to go to the tower to see the sky", shit, his feelings or whatever are being activated, but he just happens to open the door underneath Rachel

Yea, he's confirmed it, and the only bit of evidence we've seen is when Androssi teams up with Rachel and the big guy cuz she "felt" that she shouldn't mess with them. Otherwise there is nothing special about Rachel.

Well the Tower chose Baam but Rachel got in by accident first - Since she wasnt chosen that would make her the Irregular and Baam the chosen regular but they came in backwards - does that hold any significance? Baam has great control and some things inside him but was he really confirmed to be an irregular as well? I know he took a test that would only be taken for irregular but that was done based on his word and his assumption that he IS an irregular but if he was to be chosen by the tower from the getgo that really wouldnt be the case would it?

The first test was not the irregular test, just the first test to gain entry into the tower - However she was not chosen by the tower and gained entry by happenstance - Baam was the chosen one so that seemingly would make him a regular no? I thought Irregulars are just people not of the tower but open the gate themselves, Baam doesnt fit that really and it seems like he was sealed down there anyways so its possible hes originally from the tower. So much shit is still up for grabs in this story.
