But yes, agreed with all the other bros that learning to sit there for the 10-20 minutes it takes for them to vent about work, and asking a few questions like you actually give a shit, is pretty important to a relationship. And also to the other discussion that most men don't want to talk about their feelings, especially not with co-workers that aren't true friends. I don't think I've had more than a handful of "heart to heart" talks about "deep" shit with my best bros in my entire life. It's not repression, it's just how we deal with things.
My wife is actually quite impressed with how much I have picked up when it comes to her job. We are talking medical care of premature babies and I keep up with the conversation and can make useful observations.
Of course when she mentions the name of a fellow nurse I always ask if she is the hot one I met the one time that winked at me and she just smiles and sighs.

Posted in the other thread, but might as well post it here too. My wife is almost 8 weeks pregnant with a little Noodlebaby. Made the rounds telling our immediate family yesterday and they said they already knew.. they could tell by the way my wife was acting or something.
