Yup, I get this from the fat chicks at work all the fucking time. I stopped bringing in huge lunches and when questioned about it I mentioned I did it because I'd gained five pounds doing it and it took me weeks to lose it again. I got bombarded with annoying sarcastic comments for weeks about it. "Oh, you poor baby, a whole five pounds? That must have been SO HARD for you to deal with all that extra weight."

Last summer i was down to 167 at 5'10 (triathlon season) and all i got from my fat friends is how unhealthy i looked and i should eat more (meanwhile i could pound 4k calories during competition week and be fucking starving 1 hour after each meal)

And as grown ups you should be concerned with your own health. The fat acceptance movement is toxic (if it was actually effective -- it is not) to public perception of obesity as being a completely and avoidable epidemic on our healthcare system. There are warning labels on cigarettes, there are anti-smoking campaigns, there are warning labels on alcoholic beverages yet we allow overweight people to continue to overindulge and gain weight at an unprecedented rate. If you ask me fat people should be greeted with the same hostility as smokers are in this day in age.

That has been shown to be false many times. Healthy people cost the health care system more because they live to be 95 and have 13 joint replacement surgeries to keep them going and then wind up in a nursing home for several years, not to mention the fact that they draw social security and medicare for 30+ years. A fat guy having a heart attack at 63 is way cheaper even if you did have to buy him a few years of diabetes meds first.
