awww man shot right through the heart, when does it end I think im like lvl 15 on black panther could just get him to 30.

So the reason we are getting 34 more power points to spend is because max is being upped to 30 from 20. So you can put 30 points into individual skills now.

They are also overhauling bonus damage to affect overall damage and not just base damage. Huge power boost there. Heroes are going to be way more powerful now.

The max you can put in powers is still 20, you can just get +30 from items now, allowing for a max of 50.

Those tokens upgrade that heroes Ultimate when you use them after level 30 (on that hero).

I had the same problem. The number one problem is that it's a Unreal Engine 3 game. UE3 has the worst mouse polling in the history of mankind, and no matter what you do you will always have some amount of acceleration and smoothing turned on. UE3 also has severe problems with its texture streaming, and that's what usually causes the hitching. The best solution is to edit MarvelEngine.ini and turn the PoolSize way up, to something like 960 on a high end machine. The default is 160 which is waaay too fucking small. There's also a couple PhysX settings which people say help to turn up (PhysXGpuHeapSize and PhysXMeshCacheSize). With those tweaks my hitching is gone and I can play with every in-game setting maxed out except for Highly Detailed Client Side Physics, because I assume that's some PhysX gayness and I only use AMD hardware.

Storm got toned way down though. Freezing Tempest does jack for damage now, Ball Lightning's secondary bolts are much shorter range, and Stunning Bolt is better than Lightning Storm. And the worst part--I feel especially bad for people who paid real money to get her ultimate to 20, because it was completely gutted. I didn't even pay to upgrade mine and I'm still pissed about it because I've received several Storm token dupes.

I enjoyed playing her even though she was considered "no-brainer" but not anymore. Reds play like cosmics used to, and without the ultimate cosmic boss fights are a tedious slog. No clue what hero to switch to though. My luck fucking sucks, I get so many dupes it's absurd. My only other heroes are Loki, Hulk, Hawkeye, and Wolverine and I don't like any of them. I should probably buy Black Panther or Ms. Marvel while the BOGO is running but I can't decide which to go with.

It's only level 30 if the hero hasn't had their 52 review, otherwise it's level 52. But yes, Pyros you want to hang onto those as Sabbat said because they upgrade your ultimate power.

Ah, that explains how it can be real shit at times.

I would say BP vorph, im only lvl 15 but hes quite a bit of fun, and as khane said he only seems to get better later on, and mrs marvel is basically just a tank.

Just realize there are a ton of good heroes. People will be biased to whomever they enjoy the most, which is fine, but many heroes are fun AND powerful. Basically I'm saying not everyone needs to play Black Panther, lol.

No other use for the tokens other than unlocking the hero or upgrading their ultimate.

No reason to do story again outside of the specific quests you want the rewards for.

I was wondering my my mouse would move slow at times. Sluggish response. I also noticed there is no mouse speed in the options section. Definitely would like to turn it up.

9 people in the SG so far. Message myself, Pyros, Sabbat or Kellim for an invite. There are a few other people who can invite but I see those people on most often.

On the test center right now, trying to put together a raid group to test out these raids and see what they are all about. PM Ritley if interested.

Thing is the only bad starter. Cyclops is the only other hero I can think of that is just plain bad.

There are a couple kinda lame heroes, like Cable and Punisher, but very few outright bad ones.

Cyclops is actually fun for me. Either that or I went in expecting a bad character and was pleasantly surprised how much I enjoyed him. I took him to 60 unlike most the other characters that I usually stop at 50.

He is a 2 button hero though so maybe that is why people bag on him.

I had Thing as my first and had fun with him. Now, after playing others, I'll agree he's not the greatest, but I don't regret leveling him to 60. Everything feels like EZ-mode after that.
