+1 to ranged skill is somewhat wasted. If it was +1 to all skills, it would be one of the best insignias I have ever seen. If it had +400 ranged damage instead, that would also be better. If you don't have a promethium bifecta in your costume (25% medkit/2 sec invul) get one. If you still can't beat it, go farm up the Pirate Deadpool team up (or buy the Deadpool the Kid team up) and level it to 60. Server Lag makes the trial a lot easier.
Hero tuning is important for one reason - so we can build encounters that are challenging and rewarding for everyone.
All encounters are tuned assuming heroes fall within a Target Tuning Range, measured by a huge amount of internal metrics consolidated from the live game and specific internal tests.
Gambit is one of the heroes that is currently below the Target Tuning Range (new abbreviation I'm making right now: TTR).
We want to aggressively correct that for Gambit and other heroes who are below this tuning range (just as we would do for heroes that are well above correct Tuning Range).
We asked for feedback earlier this week and we've acted on that feedback with the changes below.
The changes to Gambit (and possibly others) will be on test center for this weekend and will go live next week, after everyone has a chance to try them out and provide feedback.
Gambit Tuning Changes:
RaginCajun - The Critical Rating bonus is now an always-on passive bonus.
Bo Strike - The Spirit On Hit is now increased by 100% (doubled).
Street Sweep - DoT duration increased to 8s, animation time reduced for more responsiveness
Bo Vault - Gains Movement keyword (no damage penalty for this).
Bo Vault - Damage increased.
Bo Vault - Spirit cost reduced to 15.
Bo Vault - Animation time of landing reduced for improved responsiveness.
All In - Now deals damage 4 times a second.
All In - Area slightly increased. Gains 1% damage per attack speed. Damage increased.
Royal Flush - Vulnerability duration flattened at 8 seconds for all ranks.
Dead Man's Hand - Now has a stacking buff that deals a large explosion every 5th activation.
House of Cards - Now hurls a deck of cards at target location to create the hotspot, which deals damage for 8 seconds before exploding. Slow reduced to 40%. Cooldown reduced to 3 seconds.
Grand Slam and Ace of Spades have been mechanically improved and buffed to act as "mini-signatures" and have a new damage buff interaction with Bo Beatdown:
Bo Beatdown - now deals 40% more damage while Grand Slam or Ace of Spades is on cooldown.
Grand Slam - Now converted from charge-up power to a high-damage power with an 8s Cooldown shared with Ace Of Spades).
Ace Of Spades - Increased damage and gains 8 second shared cooldown with Grand Slam.
Gambit's Signature Power has been significantly buffed:
52-Card Pickup - Cooldown reduced to 40 seconds.
52-Card Pickup - Channel time improved to 4 seconds.
52-Card Pickup - Damage Reduction increased to 80%.
52-Card Pickup - Rotation Speed Increased by 50% to be more responsive.
52-Card Pickup - Now grants an 8 second buff to Melee powers after channeling ends.
What spec you runnin bud? If you have the gear in the bank to put together some kinda summoner setup that's his powerhouse build afaik. That seems to be the view and its massively over reaching. Ive 4 manned it twice now, its not that hard. Dont die alot, pick up the orb buffs and youll breeze through. Pretty much if you can get into cosmic patrol zones youll do just fine in limbo.Yeah the event is extremely mediocre with drop rates. Got my power point quests done and got the two artifacts, meanwhile running anything less then full 69's with capped omegas is just begging to have your time wasted especially since the boxes drop elsewhere.
The reward in general is very underwhelming. These boxes which contains uniques (ok), cosmic medallions (ugh), artifacts which arnt very good and a unique ring that seems to be able to roll anything under the sun so you need some extreme RNG to find a good one.Yeah the struggle is making sure the other people know how to grab orbs and not generally be shit. Also noticed sometimes the last boss loves to jump around with tons of invincibility frames making the time spent on him either really quick or cutting it down to the buzzer. Also had the que is bug with half pre-made runs I'd do we'd end up with a bunch of random people or certain bosses not spawning in, just wish their was some guarantee of loot in terms of uniques like Ultron.
