So I got to Diamond mostly healing and Tanking, with a little DPS in there too. I want to DPS more often, but I am not a Diamond DPS...yet. So I made an alt account and I am only DPSing to Diamond. Just got out of Bronze, took 15 games and a little over 2 hours. If anyone stuck in the metal ranks wants to duo some competitive just hollar at me.

I'm not stuck per se but have been maining Warlock in unranked and considering making the jump to comp if I had a DPS to heal

Well Nirgon and I teamed up for 5 games and were met with Smurf City. We went 1-4, lol. Still had fun but it was a an asskicking.

Making a new account to convince yourself you're better than you are at a role is some weak shit. Play one account like an adult and take L's until you get good. What is even the point when you said you went up against other smurfs? Go ahead and put on the clown makeup; don't act like you're on a pro team and your stats matter. If you are only good at one role then own it.

Ya that last game when I saw that group of "level 11" players.... heh. Same issue as league when playing ranked with friends.

Grab another diamond player and try to test this theory.

If you go 1-4 in bronze then, yeah HEH.

From what I understand, they utilize EOMM(engagement optimized) instead of SBMM.. so you'll ultimately get relegated really quickly.. but it feels less tryhard-y even against other smurfs, granted i'm not pulling my main out? I usually just do it to play w/ friends, pick off picks like widow and warlock.. force my friends to try and be the more impactful.

This takes me back to 2006 on this forum. This is an authentic FoH anger post from the WoW days. Like what is your problem bro?

I got to Diamond mostly healing and once there I realized many others are just like me. So when I am forced to DPS I bring the team down. I made this account to get to Diamond via DPS and that would give me the confidence/experience to then DPS in Diamond on my main. I am sorry this upsets you so much.

Anyway, hit Plat tonight I am almost to my goal.

lol, weirdly; its a buff.. but not in the sense that he will solely responsible to just diving healers.. from the sounds of it with %hp damage, he's gonna be able to do sustain fighting in the whole team now.

Yeah, I have found that I consistently get tougher games when grouped. I assume this is because we are going against other groups that are very coordinated. I have only grouped a handful of times and none of them are people I know well, so the communication and synergy isn't great. I assume a lot of groups play together often, have their roles, are coordinated and communicate well. On this Alt account I have grouped twice, once with Nirgon and once when I was asked to join a 3 stack making it 4. The results were the similar, 1-4 & 1-3.

I was feeling nostalgic but also just had to listen to my friend group bitch about smurfs in Rivals for two days. Nothing personal. I don't even like the game.

Your friends aren't climbing because of smurfs, they aren't climbing because bad positioning, staggering and poor use of ults. How do I know this? Because I was bad once too, not that I am good now, I am probably slightly above mid. I watched a ton of youtubers to get better, on when to ult and how to position. I worked on my aim a ton by adjusting my sensitivity on a per character basis, for example my Black Panther has double the sensitivity my Mantis. I have also abandoned other hobbies just to play this game. I am 350+ hours in and the difference between now and hour 10 is huge.

Don't sell yourself short. Diamond probably puts you in the 90th percentile of players

i haven't played much but i thought the game was doing well



i assume chinese devs are basically taking over since the game is owned by NetEase (Chyna)
