Yeah, I have found that I consistently get tougher games when grouped. I assume this is because we are going against other groups that are very coordinated. I have only grouped a handful of times and none of them are people I know well, so the communication and synergy isn't great. I assume a lot of groups play together often, have their roles, are coordinated and communicate well. On this Alt account I have grouped twice, once with Nirgon and once when I was asked to join a 3 stack making it 4. The results were the similar, 1-4 & 1-3.
Same as apex, same as OW, same here... On OW1 you could at least see that you were going against other grouped players. I assume Apex and MR both do this (it's only fair imo).

Totally agree that it is fair. I just haven't put in the effort to create a static group. I like the idea, but I also don't want to have to manage other people's tilt, nor should they have to manage mine. That said, I have greatly worked on my tilt and a approach every game for fun with the effort to win. The right perspective is huge, I always say no one's mortgage payment is contingent on this win or loss, at least not in my ELO.

Don't sell yourself short. Diamond probably puts you in the 90th percentile of players
Yeah, if you look at the whole population that is true. I figure well over 50% of players are super casual. I am comparing myself to the dedicated players and in the range I am slightly above mid.

This might sound a little extreme, but I also bought some new peripherals to improve my aim. My mouse was 5 years old and heavy (the older model of the G502), so I bought a BenQ Zowie EC1-CW Mouse

I purchased a new Mouse Pad. Probably the last one I will ever buy, assuming I do not break it. SkyPAD Wallhack Glass Gaming Pad

I also purchased skates and a sleeve...
X-Raypad Jade Speed Mouse Skates

Pulsar eS Gaming Sleeve

The difference in my aim is night and day.

i haven't played much but i thought the game was doing well

i assume chinese devs are basically taking over since the game is owned by NetEase (Chyna)

This is the problem with all software development.

The better you do your job, the faster they can fire you.

That's why so much shit runs on shit ass infrastructure that they need to keep you around for 20 years.

I'm with noodle on the gaming sleeve, you clammy mf. I have a friend that does uses sleeves and has said good things.. but a good mouse and mousepad do go a really long way. Being a person that has an artisan mousepad, and tempered glass skates lol. I keep wanting to go w/ zowies, and always recommend them, but I never really steer away from Logitech. I have a bin of broken products that they've replaced for free.. I tend to death grip and overuse my mousewheel. Managed to go through 3 GPro's in one warranty, and 2 in the GPro2 warranty.

Sounds like its a basic thing now, but are you running on a 144hz+ monitor?

Finally played today a bit first time. Like venom a lot, like the tanky + disruption of constant leapiong out as needed.

I like racoon and shark on paper, but damn focused and die fast. Not sure if there's a more idiot proof or tougher healer thats more pure healing and evade rather than trying to be more split role.

Havn't tried dps much really, not sure who I'd want to try. I've seen Hela sniping like a utter cunt and black widow,

I had one of the older zowie from 6-7 years ago. Loved it. I moved to Logitec pro for a while and loved it. I hated the issue that caused the mouse to double left click when clicking once. I now use the razer viper pro, they have issue with the wheel. Middle click always fail eventually at around 18 months but they have 2 years warranty. They sent me a new one all the time.

I don't understand the popularity of the G Pro Wireless. I had one. It double clicked after 8 months. I replaced the switches (yep soldered new ones on) because everyone assumed it was the switches. Did not fix the issue. I think there is something inherently wrong with the design.

Sucks because it felt great.

It's such a bad flaw for a supposedly top mice at that price. I had 2, one a home and one at work and both failed eventually.
