Sure I could have worded it differently. I don't think Zoe is unattractive at all, quite the opposite. However I don't feel she's curvy enough for Gamora. I think she would have made a better Mantis than Gamora.
from what slashfilm described of the short footage i immediately got a firefly vibe. Star Lord's sarcasm is aking a lot like captain Mal. And of course, them being a ragtag team of outcasts gives it that lkittle bit extra. If they can nail the team interaction of firefly i will be very much looking forward to it.
Vin Diesel really got the marvel rumors buzzing...Right now they think he might be Thanos or Vision....I am hoping Thanos. He has the voice. Vision is too calm and calculating...there's a ton of other actors who would be awesome as vision.

The concept art doesn't really do it for me. Rocket Racoon and Groot bodies are way too "human" and StarLord looks a bit like a douche.
Drax is cool though.
groot looks a lot like in the comics, so does rocket. i don't see a problem there. i like Zoe as gamora, if you saw the Losers she can throw a punch. Drax looks ok ish. Star lord is allowed to be a douchebag, he is human after all, and humans surrounded by aliens always come off as assholes for some reason. I think it's because you accept aliens for having an attitude.
