the Guardians are confirmed to be in the new Thor, so apparently they're just resolving the "Asgardians of the Galaxy" thing in Thor instead of GotG3. might not have been the original plan before the whole James Gunn thing, idk.

Yeah if they wanna move the Guardians stuff forward in any reasonable time they had to do it with Thor, cause Gunn is still doing casting for Suicide Squad.

The worst part about this stuff is it's going to be a LOT of origin movies. Origin movies are by far Marvel's weakest movies. Every single one except maybe Iron Man has been very mediocre, but have introduced characters that have gone on to be great. Everyone says "OH YEAH BUT IRON MAN", but I'm not sure. Iron Man was really cool when it came out because it was a non-campy superhero feature with a Marvel hero. If you watch the movie now it's like all dialogue. There's 3ish fight scenes and each one is like 30 seconds. As an Origin story it's good, but as a Marvel movie comparatively now it is lacking.

So I'm guessing there's going to be a LOT of meh coming out, but eventually they'll make some goooood shit. I mean compare Thor 1 and Thor 3. Different ends of the fucking spectrum, but they had several movies to make Thor a more likeable character than just a some-what cocky fish out of water.

How is it a Monopoly if they get Spiderman? That just means that Marvel then owns all Marvel IP. There's still people out there making movies, but all the Marvel ones would be under one roof and be able to be connected in a cinematic universe allowing for the comic world to come to life fully. It's not like Disney makes every movie ever. Just the Marvel ones.

Not totally psyched for Kit Harrington, but I loved Black Knight. They are really branching out on the Avengers roster too. Sersei and Black Knight were both Avengers. I guess it's nostalgic for me cuz they were active members during the time I was still into buying comics. I really want to see Hercules pop up as well now.
