The rumor comes from We Got This Covered, who reveal their source tells them the team will not only include Captain Marvel and Female Thor, but will also feature America Chavez as Miss America, Valkyrie, and She-Hulk.


In fact, their source tells them the newly announced She-Hulk Disney+ series will lead to the formation of the A-Force team.


As one can expect in modern Hollywood, the source also indicates Disney is looking for a female writer and female director for the project.


An all-female Marvel team-up movie has been talked about for a couple of years now. Thor: Ragnarok actress Tessa Thompson discussed the possibility about such a film back in February 2018. (Related: Kevin Feige Talks About All-Women Marvel Movie!)

the whole argument sounds good on the surface, until you realize that they arent adding new SJW friendly characters. they are wokerizing already established iconic characters to virtue signal in current year. its ridiculous and has made me curtail my film watching to movies made before the woke era.

Its not asians playing asians, its X people playing traditionally white characters. If there was an issue with white people playing asians, why is this okay?

Holding someone to their own rules is not a bad thing. What you're doing is holding us to one set of rules (Merit), while their ideologues are held to a different set (Identity). For them, being black is important--its why Wakanda must be all black, its also why you need people of other races in more traditionally white backgrounds. For your merit is important, its why you don't care if a white religious figure is black. The problem here is...You don't seem to be calling out merit in a film like Black Panther, or places where it would be a traditionally "black" background or films which cater to "Wakandans" (OR any other niche). What, do you think no white person was a superior actor, even though due to the Demographics of the SAG you'd have 8 white actors for every 1 black actor? (Because the population of Britain,. Australia and the U.S,/Canada reflect that demographic skew).

If you choose not to enforce your rules, but they can enforce theirs, then you're just surrendering your rules without saying so. Your course of action can only lead to merit being, at best, a secondary qualifier--which no one who believes in merit would want. So why support this?

Oh, and its a silly red herring to make this a free speech argument. No one is asking their speech to be restricted through power of law. I, personally, just want people to see the double standard and hypocrisy and stop being so timid about calling it out. Its OKAY to hold people to the rules they demand you be held to.
