Man I hope that is true. I'd be completely happy with her. Robbie, I feel, would likely give more of a sassy performance, whereas this chick seems like she'll be more believable to me.

I also hope this means they might go a different direction that Adam Driver for Reed. I know plenty of people like him, but he just doesn't inspire me in anything. That could be because the very first time I ever saw him in anything that I remember was when he took off his helmet in Force Awakens. I shit you not, the theater laughed when he did that. He looked nothing like what I expected the new Dark Sith Lord to look, and apparently most of my theater agreed. Same for Reed Richards. That guy ain't what I picture.

This Vanessa Kirby chick though? Yep, exactly what I want my Sue Storm to look like (assuming we can't have Emily Blunt), so I hope it is true.

Although that version of him was pretty fucking stupid, why would you go to the trouble of casting Krasinski to play Reed and then just have that be a confusing one-off appearance?

Vanessa Kirby is a surprising casting choice, but I guess redheads are the priority for blackwashing. She apparently learned to do some of her own stunt-work after being thrown into the deep end in Fallout and then F&F, obviously she still uses stunt doubles but hopefully she's competent enough that her action scenes wouldn't be a mishmash of cuts and weird angles to conceal that it's 90% double. Not that I expect this movie to be any good unless Feige gets shit-canned before it goes into pre-production.

The Hulk has always been my favorite super hero, even since I was a toddler. I really wanted the WWH around the second Avengers movie but I just don't see how they can set it up with out another like 10 years of lead in. At that point I don't even care anymore.

MMy Marvel movie marathon while wife and kids are in Japan has been continuing well. So far I've seen (in order) Infinity War, Captain Marvel, Endgame, Spider-Man: Far from Home, Black Widow and I just started Shang-Chi. I should be able to finish editing else beetle my wife comes home on the 28th. I also plan on watching both Deadpool movies.
