Honestly don't know much about him other than you guys have linked some of his videos, and I've tried to watch them, but I can't do it, especially with all of his bobblehead dolls behind him. I just thought it was a massive departure and immediately noticeable. I don't know the last video I saw of his but he was sitting in his "man cave" with all of his toys.
What the hell do I know though. I guess there are enterprising individuals who were able to see a goofy niche in the market for stupid YouTube stuff and capitalize on it. Good for them.

Savage Dragon was my first Image Comics experience. I was away at summer camp and Savage Dragon #1 was in their little trading post thing. I used to go up there any time I was bored and got that. Summer camp was 1-week long, and after getting this book, I started to collect Savage Dragon at that point. Badass series.
Savage Dragon, then Spawn then Wildcats, Gen 13 & Witchblade were my Image collection.

Maybe it's just me but on the occasions where I'll actually comment on somebody's video, like somebody who makes a pretty cool fly pattern or some guy who's cooking something that looks pretty good, I'll try my best to at least be genuine and let them know I appreciate the stuff that they're making.
With these people though, you'll see a couple thousand replies and it's just the same dumb shit over and over and I just can't believe it's genuine unless your vast majority of people are retarded. Can you look at the ratio of a million views but only 10,000 likes.
You got to know that there's companies out there that crunched the numbers for the advertisers, and our milking it for all it's worth.

IIRC he's been in Vegas for a meet and greet with a bunch of his followers/fans. Which is why this had generic backdrop. He's pretty passionate about a few specific things, this was one of them, and there's no way he wasn't doing a video about the trailer drop. So it makes some sense.

I mean I know I watch the red letter media guys in there just as dorky, but the goofy stuff that they collect is at least someone memorable versus hundreds of bobblehead toys from some crappy movie whether it be Star Wars or Marvel or whatever.

Nerdrotic has an entire ecosystem of other blogger/vlogger/whatevers, including a couple women. They do this show called "Friday Night Tights", and it's big enough and has enough fans that they are apparently now doing in person meetups. If their reporting on it is accurate, they're getting around 400 people for each live FNT show they do.
I know this because the Friday Night Tights podcast is on the usual youtube autoplay hole that ends up on in the background on many days in the other room at my house courtesy of the wife.
