I suspect the blood Peggy is so protective of is about to fall into Leviathan's hands thus setting the stage for MCU black widow to have a variant too.

I'm enjoying this show, but I just can't take Peggy's actress seriously as an action hero. She doesn't have the look, mannerisms...something I just can't put my finger on. I think she's great as a sleuth, but when it comes to action scenes it's just painful to watch.

How the hell do they wrap this up in 2 episodes? Gonna be rushed as hell unless they're planning to leave a bunch of loose ends.

Haven't they already been greenlit for a 2nd season? If that's true, I imagine they'll leave a lot of stuff open. I'm guessing we'll get a final showdown between Peggy and Dottie, with Dottie dying, and some kind of conclusion with the Russian psych guy that will result in Stark being cleared. Leviathan as a whole will probably remain as the looming threat for the 2nd season.

The biggest cliffhanger will be if Angie gets a part on Broadway or not.

I'm sort of doubting they ever intended for this to be wrapped up in 8 episodes. I'd be really surprised (and grateful) if it ends without a cliffhanger of some sort.

the focus this season has been howard stark and getting all his inventions out of enemy hands and peggy has been trying to clear him. they have the weapons. all thats left is to clear stark, which should be easy to do in 2 episodes. peggy proves that leviathon was behind it all. they take down dottie and the show ends with unresolved stuff due to leviathon still being out there. it feels like doctor russkie is going to be a regular character(he got his own PoV flashback) and will possibly still be around for season 2.

Seriously? What a load of fucking bullshit. I mean, I like the show, but weren't we told it was a limited run like a miniseries?
I've learned not to believe networks when they say stuff like this. If a show is successful, they'll keep running it regardless of their original intentions. With as hard as it is to come by good ratings today, a network isn't going to do a limited run of something successful. Hell, Syfy's president recently said he has no interest in doing miniseries unless there is a potential to turn them into a series, which is why you get things like the 6 episode "miniseries" Ascension that has no actual ending and just goes nowhere.

it was a limited run only because it was to bridge the hiatus gap for SHIELD. last year they pulled some out and out fuckery by giving us one episode a month during the winter. now i dont give a shit when shield comes back as long as we get more carter. if the show is succesful we will get more carter at its own timeslot.

I wouldn't be too disappointed if ABC decided to just keep Agent Carter in this slot. Agents of SHIELD has a lot more room to grow given its connection to the upcoming movie releases. Let it go off in whatever direction it's going to go and keep Agent Carter to shorter, tighter storylines.

Agent Carter is my favorite tv show at the moment. Wasn't expecting to like it at all.

Wonder who that Leviathan guy is in the Marvel U.

Great episode, but what shocked me more was seeing a name I recognized in the guest starring credits, Bridget Regan. Holy shit, I never would have recognized that Dotty was the chick from Legend of the Seeker. Talk about a drastic acting change. Maybe it was obvious to others, but it blew me away when I realized that was her.

odd point.

The baby color scene. Late 1940's is when Blue for boys, and Pink for girls was introduced. Prior it was either full on white, (centuries even.), or in the early 1900's, it was pink for boys, and blue for girls.
At this point in the shows timeline, the pink could be for a boy. its almost odd to have this scene here, and not call specific attention to this practice.
If it was "Pink for girls" then this would have been a brand new thing, something a sells women likely would have outright said. Since white was not an option, it probably was intended to be the current gender color norms. Which means again, it would have been a practice just started, and one a new mother may not be aware of, nor make a causal assumption of.

The clerk never specified gender though. She just asked if Dottie wanted a pink or blue blanket, to which Dottie responded "Let's go with pink." and crossed her fingers. Considering, like you said, the color/gender thing wasn't firmly agreed upon by 1946, so it's hard to judge if Dottie picked pink to indicate wanting a girl (based on current gender color norms) or a boy (based on the color/gender somepublications and some department stores encouraged around that time).
