I thought when they outed Talbot as Hydra it was a decent twist. Then they shot it back to he isn't Hydra in like 5 minutes. Why not let you think he's Hydra for 4-5 episodes? Seems like that would have been a cooler decision.

See I thought the opposite. When they were making it seem he was Hydra I was disappointed. I like having an "impartial" faction. The Government, represented by Talbot, see SHIELD and Hydra as two faces of evil.

I didn't draw that conclusion. I was just completely irked that the leader of the anti-shield task force is running bitch errands. I don't see it going down that way. I thought something was wrong.

They do need to flesh out his staff a bit if they're going to keep using the military like this. Yea, we got to see Nick Fury giving orders, but we mostly saw Coulson and Hill doing the small stuff.

All I know is they need to do their Iron Man cameo soon - I mean with S.H.I.E.L.D. running into its 2nd season now and them tying directly into the movies - there is only so much time before it's like "They need to know who the new director is... I mean they are resourceful enough to know Coulson is still alive at this stage of the game."

Palicki isn't such a great character so far, i don't know if it's the limited range of the actresses or just written bad, cuz I mean she is working as Mockingbird, One of the more useless Marvel "girls", her only claim to fame is being Hawkeye's wife and even then that's pretty D-list, hell they even put her in the West Coast Avengers, where all the D listers go to die. (actually she did die as a WC avenger)

but at least plot points aren't dragging on. They could have had sixth sense crazy Fitz for the whole season, nope that ended quick. They coulda had in the dark Skye and Coulson, nope that ended quick.

So Mockingbird reveal (or Bobbi, as they always stupidly try to shoehorn in her name) is blah, but at least the whole story is moving forward.

They did quite a bit with Mockingbird in the Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes animated series (which also notably had Jennifer Hale voicing Ms Marvel which was just plain perfect casting). I will say that our one-time Wonder Woman is a damn tall chick...

Looks like Skye might end up beingQuakejudging from how they are portraying Kyle MacLachlan, only with an alien vibe.

I hope not. I'd feel weird knowing that people are jumping off rooftops on invisible jets, getting in crazy martial arts fights, gunfights, only to see a brainwashed agent die to a 110v light outlet that short circuited her holographic face mask.

Source: I'm that stupid 5 year old kid that stuck his finger into a light bulb socket, and a fork into an electrical outlet.

Fair's fair (and I have bashed this show a bit) that last episode was pretty good. The only eye rolling bit was 'Where's Skye?'.

My guess would be that the 5'11" official height for Palicki is at least a couple inches shorter than reality. It's just that being taller than 6' is a bit of a problem for women (in general and actresses in particular - Sigourney Weaver is listed on imdb as 5'11" too). Henry Simmons who plays the mechanic of the team and who is about the same size as her when they hug near the end of the episode is 6' 4".
