Oh course Kotaku is going to give this a glowing review most everything I've seen so far in MEA screams SJW ... I wouldn't be surprised to to see Ryder land on a planet full of show-tune singing tranny dragqueens that treat you differently based upon what race/gender you used to create your character.

Yiiikes, this is rough even for a total franchise apologist like myself.

Writing is laughable garbage, voice acting is horrid, and the animations are cold and lifeless - they look stiff and broken.

Every game I try to defend this year has just shit straight down my throat! What the fuck!!

I guess this is what happens when you throw C squad at a game on an engine they probably hadn't ever touched before. In case anyone doesn't know this is running on Frostbite... 3? and not whatever incarnation of Unreal Engine that ME3 was.

Jesus fuck that just HAS to be a deliberate design decision to "de-sexualize" the females in the game. That's got Anita Sarkeesian's fingerprints all over it.

I was thinking maybe those GG haters were just exaggerating things but then I looked at videos of the actual actress the female lead is based on and it's clear Bioware had to expend a LOT of time and energy to make her that ugly:

Looks like sometimes only one eyelid blinks during the animation and it makes them look like they are stroking out while trying to hold a straight face. Lol.
