Thanks, think I have the Citadel versions of those. GW Employee helped me pick them out I'm worried that they are too brown since I want a clean ivory.

I have Wraithbone (spray and regular), Skeleton Horde (contrast) and Corax White.

Ditch GW light colors, white is especally trash. Proacryl makes the best paint on the market imo and the creams and whites are top notch.

That looks really solid! I Never did any transfers on my guys I painted.

Are the GW waterslides good quality or brittle?

Kinda failed a few big ones on my Tamiya F14 build and just ended upp painting the thing grey instead of the carbon fiber slide.

I think I used the decal solution a bit heavy and then went to correct the slide too roughly. Sucks doing curved surfaces.

I went to GW and asked for the two decal solutions, gave me Paint Medium + Varnish when I needed Decal Solution + Varnish.

Problem is that most decals are going onto a curved surface so you need the decal stuff to melt them on. After struggling with a few I put a little cut though the radius, which helped.

Anyway they are now done and the transfers are good quality, I was even able to reverse them when I wanted them in the other direction. Problem is that some of them at the wrong colour so I'm painting over them once the varnish is dry.

You may have 50% wrong opinions but you're at least 50% more successful than the average hobbyist who has nothing but a sea of grey plastic.

Thats more painted in like a week than me in two years. The feeling is not the best!

What paints did you end up using? Citadel?

I went all in on army painter but its really not the best brand. Thick as hell in the bottle so hard to mix them if they separate, not even an electric lab shaker thing helped.

Thanks guys. Felt hard to follow through at times, but I have two weeks off work so got through it.

The Imperial Fists splash colour goes REALLY well with the colour scheme, super happy with the terminators. Who would have thought that yellow goes with gold!

Best Brands imo:
All round: Proacryl
Metallics: Scale 75
Washes/Inks : Citadel/Army Painter

AK is decent too. As is the new Vallejo Game Color (Not old one)

The new army painter fanatic line looks good tho

I just went Citadel everything because while other brands cost less, there's shipping costs and my wife orders enough shit that my poor next door neighbour has to accept for us.

Just my iphone 13 lol. Chapter is soul drinkers. Simple overhead White light + A direct light in front.

herre is my setup: I use the overhead mostly, and bring in the side white swinging light (below right monitor) for photos or when I need extra light.

Yeah, some part of it has to be innate. I think if I practiced again I still wouldn't be able to do what he does. But, it does make me want to get back into it.
