I've said this before, but you need a fucking Life Reboot. Get a 6 month work visa in some far off country you're interested in and get some perspective. Or save up some cash, pack a backpack, and go travel for as long as you can. Climb the mountains of Nepal and smoke some hash on the summit. Go live in a Thai village for a month and work with the locals. Whatever it is, do something that will introduce some shock into your life in an attempt to reset things.

FUCKING TRUST ME AND DO THIS. I have multiple friends/family that fell into serious depressive funks and six months abroad has had amazing success.

That's what happened to the first 6000 before I put my foot down. The past 7000 has gone directly onto the bills themselves.

Tell your mom that you're gonna have to start "extreme modeling" or working as an "exotic dancer" or as a high-end escort BUT you'll be able to give her $10k a month with a $20k advance since you're gonna need to be in New York for a month.
