I think 'cocky' least describes a sports fan from KC. We are very used to being abused in playoff times.

Stuff like this always makes me laugh. What, did you see a few Royals fans posting in a forum on commenting on a story being all cocky and then just took that and applied it to all Royals fans? Did somehow an entire fanbase go from average cockiness to full blown worst in the world cockiness because they won two home games against a good offensive team? I think most people who say something like "X team's fans are the most Y" are usually just reacting to the actions of a minuscule amount of people but it seems especially true in this case.

All I said was don't get cockey because the Jays were down last series 0-2 as well. Then people got butt hurt. That pretty much sums it up.

Can you quote this for me? I looked and didn't see anything like that.


Fortunately for me the Cubs are like my #2 MLB team, and I like the Jays too (kinda meh on Mets I guess). I'm not sure KC will go all the way, but even if they don't I think they've done really well and so far I'm really liking how it's turning out.

You said Royals fans were getting cocky, not advising them not to get cocky. I see Ritley saying "hows that dick taste price?" and that's about the only thing that fits. Man, those Royals fans, out of control! And when called on your spurious claim, you refuse to point anything out and instead claim everyone else is butt hurt. Makes sense.

In any case, I don't think most Royals fans underestimate the Blue Jays. That offense is too scary to think it will stay dormant.

About sums it up. I wasn't cocky so much as gloating that the royals worked over the possible AL Cy Young. Was in no way predictive of the future, I think this series goes to 7 games and as much as I want the royals to win, you can never count the blue its out with the lineup they have.
