If the Dodgers are healthy, they're winning the World Series. That being said, that's a potential big "if" with that rotation. I still heavily favor the Dodgers, but they're some bad luck away from merely being a "great" team, instead of their current juggernaut status.
As for the Rangers, I'm super excited to see what this year brings. There will be answers one way or another: Did this lineup just happen to have career years in 2023 and it was never going to happen again? Does Adolis, Semien, Heim rebound or has age caught them? Does Langford & Carter make the big leaps their talent indicates. What does Rocker & Leiter give you, and can deGrom & Eovaldi stay healthy?
I think the potential variance with this Rangers team can be quite large. I can see them being the best team in the AL, or just having another dud. That being said they probably have the probable #1 OVR prospect going into 2026 in Sebastian Walcott, and they finally seem to be figuring out developing arms. I also think there will be a really good chance they might win the Guerrero Jr. sweepstakes with the Dodgers and Mets being out of that pursuit.
