So would I. I stand by my belief that Weidman will lose his first title defense no matter who he ends up against, but even if it ends up being a rematch against Silva, no way Silva runs him over in 90 seconds.

Yeah I don't know why you'd think Silva would even try to finish Wiedman in the first round if he had a rematch. When Silva is trying he's more likely to be very cautious in the first and second rounds so he can get his timing down. He completely skipped that in the last fight for whatever reason.

Talent level of Silva and Randy is totally diff. Couture isn't famous because he was a dominator. Two totally diff personalities too, obvi.

I love Randy but I don't even know why I do. He's not that entertaining of a fighter and he was never a world-beater. Maybe it's just from seeing him spank Tito and destroy Sylvia.

Well said. I just rooted for Randy because he was old I think. I too would take that bet that Weidman wouldn't last 90 seconds in a rematch. He fought a very intelligent fight and that's what he's always done. If you still feel the same way in 6 months lets make another avatar bet.

Last fight Anderson ended in under 90 seconds was James Irvin in '08; 90 seconds is retarded hyperbole. You give me any top 25 fighter in the world vs. any top 100 fighter in the world in their weight class and I'll give you odds and take the fight over 90 seconds, no matter the odds.

Damn, just realized that this will be the co-main event with Rousey/Tate 2. This will easily be their biggest PPV ever. Shit, it would be without chickfight2, but damn, already a nice card.

Yeah I don't know how you can be annoyed that the #1 fighter in the world with the UFC record in title defenses gets a rematch after being beaten. If there's ever a champ that should get a rematch it's A. Silva.

I do agree that Silva should win this though. I'll take that he accepted the fight as evidence that he actually wants the title. Murder is a strong word. I have too much respect for Weidman to predict Silva will murder him.


Will also 1month avatar bet anyone that Silva wins.
