I just saw the video of Karine Silva getting her arm broken in an armbar, and it wasn't even close to being locked in at all.

I was at the Anderson Silva v Forrest Griffin fight in Philadelphia. Such an awesome card. When Anderson went into Morpheus Matrix mode and ended Forrest, the place erupted.

The first fight I watched live was Connor vs Cowboy, and only because some weird little lesbian had an ESPN+ subscription and a google chromecast. She brought it to the dive bar we were at and casted it to the TV above the bar.

Might not get away with that in larger areas with more people, but this is a town of ~8k people and I'll be using the fuck out of that trick in the future.

A few years back a local BJJ gym got busted for showing the UFC at a private party. Some Zuffa agent masqueraded as a new student and then turned in the owner. He ended up paying thousands in fines and nearly had to close the business.

i'm sure every bjj gym that isn't in a basement has done it, it makes sense, sprawl and roll in the afternoon and then just watch the ufc and then you want to roll and mimck what you just saw
