that will be a great fight, how is cats ground game?
Cat's a good wrestler but so is Sara McMann. I think Cat might be stronger than Ronda but I doubt that it'll really matter. Odds are on a first round armbar, but I'd love to see Cat win.

Ronda, curse the cunt, keeps getting better and better every time she steps in the cage. Besides the fact she is insanely driven and a natural she also has more resources to focus all that training than any other female in MMA. It's a little bit of a feedback loop, she's the best so she gets to train the best, so she continues to be the best.

At this point Ronda might be a better striker than her, Cat's strength is wrestling and top control. Do you really see Ronda getting ragdolled by those goofy DDT takedowns? And even if Cat ends up on top she's not going to stop the fight with GnP before Ronda snatches an arm.

A Holly Holm kick or a Cyborg knee seem like the only way she'll be losing any time soon.

Is she really getting better and better, or is she just going against people who aren't as good as they are billed? Sure she could be improving, but how do we really know when she is fighting the people she is fighting? Nothing bad towards her, but she has been one of the top women in judo/fighting for her entire life. The women she is fighting are nothing compared to Tate, and Tate hardly made it to the third round of their fight.

I give her two more fights and she will get that Silva cockiness and become complacent and loose sooner than later.

Of course they're all way worse than billed(Tate included), that's something I've bitched about from the start. But she looks less and less clueless on the feet every fight. She's got a clinch game now that goes beyond just going for the throw and includes some nasty knees. And on the ground she's not just going for the armbar right away and muscling it in to effectiveness, she's trying to open opponents up with strikes down there and create opportunities rather than just brute force them.

None of which is to say she's amazing at all these things, but she is visibly improving at them. Working on the glaring holes in her game.

I do like the bold prediction that she will lose some day, just like every other MMA fighter in history.

What's more likely?

? Ronda trains like a maniac with some of the best people in the world and is improving
? Ronda trains like a maniac with some of the best people in the world and isn't improving at all

Can you point to anything Ronda has ever done as an example that she's regressing?

Not at all. She has always fought hard and fast and is the best. I was just saying you can't really claim she has had this huge increase in improvement from her last few fights. How can you really tell a person is better when the fights don't even last on average of like 20 seconds? Can always go full retard and claim she has regressed due to the fact her last three matches lasted longer than her first 7 matches. I'm not doing that.

Her toughest opponent was Tate. She went from beating her in the first round to going three rounds the second time. Did Tate improve that much more than Ronda, did Ronda regress, or was it just luck? The match after Tate, Sara Mcmann landed shots that no one else had landed on Ronda before (much much more than any other besides 3 rounds with Tate) and Davis was just so lol I think Sean could have beaten her.

So yes, if you look at the Mcmann and Tate fights they have been outside the norm. If she was improving then she wouldn't have taken the hits she did vs Mcmann, nor gone three rounds to put Tate out.

Her key is the judo and sub. Yes her boxing is most likely improving from the little she had before (or is it since Mcmann was landing shots on her like no one else had). Has that transitioned to her fights being more lopsided? No. I think her ability bar is close to max, so she won't make leaps and bounds in improvements.

Also Grimm there is a difference between flat out saying soandso will lose one day as compared to being cockey and losing in a way that Silva did.

Her toughest opponent was Carmouche. Tate is insanely overrated. The fact Tate got beat up for longer doesn't make her better. She got thrown around like a ragdoll, beat up in the clinch, and dominated on the ground. The only reason it lasted that long was Ronda focused more on her striking because she knows she needs to. She had zero trouble taking Tate down when she wanted to, and she had very little trouble advancing her position once there.

Ronda doesn't have to improve by leaps and bounds, she's already the best. If she's still getting better, and she is, it's just gravy.

She's shown nothing but insane work ethic and retard level competitiveness. She's not out there dancing and showboating like Silva or underestimating anyone. I'm not sure how you even make the comparison.

She'll lose eventually, everyone does. But I seriously doubt it will because of something stupid like Silva in the first Weidman fight.

And most of all F U for making me write this many words in defense of her=P

"We're told officers found what appeared to be a suicide note in the cell."

The note simply read "Alpha as fuck!"

Unrelated to that turd, UFC.com made a funny!

Dude can't even commit suicide right. He got beat by Jerle
Okay, I laughed at that far too much.

With the NFL season here I am finding myself far less invested in MMA than I have in years past. I suppose it partially has to due with the sheer amount of fight cards they are putting on now. If they had nothing but title fights and contender cards I would be all in. But I am having a hard time being interested in many of these fights. Especially the HW division.

Pfft, why would me and Cam be on the same team? I'd be willing to fight anyone for a little bit of moneys tho, professional or not.
It's a reference to back when you and Cam were supposed to duke it out, and Cele volunteered to ref it. But then he said something about being willing (and probably able) to take you both on at the same time.
