Now we just need to get rid of Big John and Herb Dean so we can have special celebrity guest refs and Dana's transformation plan will be complete.

He wasn't even bitching, he just acknowledged that they were making a lot less money now. BS move by the UFC but hey maybe Stich makes more money now working boxing.

Lol... Is this a good time again to bring up how much less UFC fighters make to their pugilist counter parts? "UF-Fucking-C"
Dude on the undercard of Mayweather/Pacquiao was still working two jobs during the days. On the last undercard fight before the biggest fight of our lifetimes.

MMA pay is shit, but don't pretend Mayweather and those guys are representative of most boxers.

Considering what Mayweather has made, its clearly blatantly obvious that Mayweather is not a good representation for any athlete alive, let alone boxing. The guy you're referring to was an absolute shitty fighter that didn't even remotely belong on that card, because Leo Santa Cruz is overrated as fuck. My simple point is that you can take guys outside house hold names, and some of these guys are making $500,000+ for fights. In comparison the Fertitta's pay absolute dog shit compared to what Haymon does for his PBC fighters. There is no denying that on any level. Rory a very well known UFC fighter, in an incredible fight, made fucking $109k.... Keith Thurman on that same night fought a washed up Collazo and made $1.5 million straight up.

Btw, think Dillashaw puts it on Barao again. Barao's lack of athleticism/speed really showed in the first fight.

Man when you just toss that figure out there, that really isn't shit. Considering he might not even get another fight this year, how much of a beating he took, and how much less he'd get not fighting in a championship match? That isn't shit. I mean I'm sure he makes something from that wonky sponsorship deal, but 109k really ain't shit.

Considering this is a card for FOX...it's not very exciting. The matchups alone look like something exclusively for FS2 outside of the main and co-main.

It's borderline criminal. Rory may never even remotely be the same again. Zuffa is lucky someone hasn't come into the sport with legitimate money.

I can almost guarantee Rory made far more than $109k. I just read an article from one of the UFC fighters and he said he got a second check on fight night every single time that wasn't reported. But it isn't like they can necessarily count on that. Zuffa is only obligated to pay them their agreed to purse.

That being said, I still think these guys are woefully underpaid.
