Went to the weigh-ins for UFC Nashville earlier and going to the card tomorrow night. It was pretty cool. I'm really looking forward to my first event. We don't have the best seats, but looked like they had big screens hanging from everywhere so shouldn't be a problem. Also, can't really beat the night life on Broadway in downtown Nashville after the fights let out.

That is just Ariel's mock card...I doubt there will be 3 title bouts and two #1 contender fights on the same card...if it is...that would be pretty cool. Also, Ronda would probably be a bigger draw than Conor and Jose.

Conor did 800,000 buys on a short notice fake title fight against Chad Mendes. I'm fairly confident the original fight would have broken 1 million with the hype machine behind Aldo/Conor. They would definitely be the biggest draw on that fake card over a rehash of Rousa/Tate. Not thatthatfight wouldn't be a huge draw itself. Ronda is finally the huge draw they've been saying she was since way before she actually was, the Bethe "fight" is estimated to have drawn near 900k buys. The hype machine on her is in crazy overdrive and it's working. I mean, did you see her training that panda!?!?

edit: Though to be fair the Mendes(Aldo)/Conor original card was more stacked than the Rousey card so it's not a straight 1:1 comparison. She really is a legit huge draw now all on her own.

They are both huge draws, and it's close, but I think that last PPV just gave her an extra push. I've never seen that many people out and about for a UFC PPV in a really long time. The last time I saw that many folks out to watch a fight, there weren't as many options as to where to go because UFC just wasn't being shown in as many sports bars back then.

Got the bartender to put the fights on a bunch of TVs during prelims. When they ended the Hooters International Swimsuit Pageant came on Fox Sports 2. She put the main card on most of the TVs but left the pageant on a few for the old dudes. Kenny Florian is hosting both shows, side by side. If they both have him on screen again and I think of it I'll try to hey a pic, was funny to me.

Anyone have a stream for the main card? I got it DVR but letting my sister stay at my house and watch something atm.
