Glad you put that together, because it confirmed what I had thought. It is a bunch of guys that are all outcasts (for a reason) from other camps. They chose a place in Miami that is full of distractions. Do they have any disciplinarian coaches? It is all just a recipe for epic fail.
That's kinda how I feel. You look at that list and it's mostly people who either aren't disciplined or have had trouble in previous camps.

Hoooooly shit, anyone watching TUF? Did he died?
He apparently was out for 4 minutes but looks like he is okay. I give respect for the guy who knocked him out apparently he went with the guy he knocked out to the hospital which is pretty classy. Its one of those situations where you are proud you won but you don't really want to hurt somebody that badly and he handled it pretty well.

After he knocked him out he walked right over to him and said "I'm sorry Adam" when he was still unconscious. He looked pretty upset that he hurt someone, was kind of touching.

A much better list than the "official" list. Though I still don't get why he places Lil Nog so high up on the rankings. He just hasn't looked that impressive in the UFC at all. Glover Teixeira would annihilate him IMO.

Why in the world does he have Chael at #2 in the MW division? Hasn't he officially moved up to LHW now? It isn't like he will be back in line for a shot at the MW belt anytime soon.

My criteria for ranking is based on overall record, most recent wins, win streaks, strength of opposition & quality of wins. Ex. A dominant 2nd round KO over an opponent will weigh more heavily than a close & controversial decision win. Also, a long layoff in competition may result in a lower ranking. Fighters are only ranked if they have fought in that weight class. Ex. Chael Sonnen has not fought at 205lbs in the UFC yet so he has no ranking.

I think once you sign a fight at a different weight class with the intent on staying in that weight class you shouldn't be ranked in your previous weight class. For me Chael would have no ranking, but I wouldn't be against putting him in the middle of the LHWs since he could probably beat most LHWs in the UFC.

Also Overeem is nursing himself withhttp://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-21375594after his loss.

Overeems stock shouldnt drop that much. It was his first loss in many years, and honestly Dana probably doesnt even mind. For the longest time he wanted Overeem on the roster and now that he finally came over and loses so quickly into his UFC career, Dana is probably kind of happy to be honest. Now that he has that loss out of his system (everyone loses, except if your name is Anderson Silva) he can concentrate on getting better.

I still think he would beat Bigfoot 8 out of 10 times. If he doesnt fight like a fucking amateur in the third round he wins going away. I'm prety sure he would ice almost all of the top 10 UFC heavies except Dos Santos and Velasquez.

I actually think he has a good chance of beaing Cain, as Im confident Overeem has enough stregnth and technique to stop Cains takedowns. Cain might very well be able to strike with him, but Overeem has a longer reach and a decent height advantage.

Anyway, Overeem is still a monster. He just is a fucking idiot.

I for one am glad Overeem lost. Me and some buddies were talking about it before he fought on Saturday, all the good fights for him outside of Dos Santos are lowerish tiered guys who he might not get to fight if hes the champ (he might have since heavyweight is still kind of shallow imo)

vs Hunt,Struve,Nelson,Kongo and Pat Berry

All the title contention fights for him are boooring except Dos Santos of course.

Overeem vs. Carwin would be fucking awesome (not sure if you guys notice that I've been a Carwin fan for years yet).

Also, as for the the Florian rankings...why put Frankie Edgar at #2 (or #1 if you count the champ) in the 155 lb. division. That bothered me more than anything. Chael at #2 in Middleweight has always gotten on my nerves ever since he got beat by Anderson the second time. Frankie may not have lost like that, but for fucks sake, stop the dick riding.

Hari shouldn't have fought that year he had a million things going on, he's way better than Overeem. It isn't close.
It's a damn shame he's a psychopath. To me, he's the most exciting fighter to watch just because of how perfect and vicious his striking looks. In many ways reminds me of Tyson except he couldn't even keep himself under control long enough to accomplish much of anything.

Yeah you are probably right. After missing time by serving a year suspension for steroids coming off a win over Brock, the biggest star the UFC ever had, going into a fight he should have won, poised for a title shot and a UFC push because he knocks people out, is marketable and speaks english and looks like a super hero, it's good that he lost. The guy who they mention winning K-1 in every promo they do getting knocked out by a guy who already got demolished by the current champ is a good thing. All of this especially since with PPV points they probably just paid him over a million bucks for that event.

Oh Jozu.

What the fuck are you talking about? I know you have a hard on for Ubereem but he isnt the posterboy of the UFC or something. Velasquez is marketable as fuck too if you havent noticed, and he brings the legumers into the fold.

I'm not saying its good for the UFC, just said Dana probably really doesnt give a fuck. Overeem was never his "guy" and I'm sure him and Joe Silva will find ways to protect his chin and get him back in he title mix in no time. All that loss did was boost Bigfoots stock considerably, giving the UFC another trinket in the HW division to play with, and hopefully teach Overeem a lesson so he is better off going forward.

You act like he died or something.

It's hyperbole both ways, but the idea that Dana didn't want AO to win is silly. He's just way more marketable than Bigfoot and a match up between him and Cain would have been huge.

Yep.

The UFC is great in that it doesn't rely on one fighter to do well, but you know they were hoping AO would win at least until he fought Cain. Who would've destroyed him.
