It's hyperbole both ways, but the idea that Dana didn't want AO to win is silly. He's just way more marketable than Bigfoot and a match up between him and Cain would have been huge.
When did I say Dana DIDNT WANT him to win? I just said he didnt give a fuck if he lost.

Obviously him winning would have been cool too and got him closer to the title, but he didnt die or anything. Everyone loses in the UFC. WHat if he did beat bigfoot, then won the title, but got knocked out in his first defense because he is abig idiot? That would have been worse marketing wise. So he got that UFC loss out of the way already and now if he just fights like he should he is only a win or two away from title contention.

What...I just...huh?
lol.

Maybe Im just a retard, but what Im trying to say he is will be back and be back fast. And it would have been worse if he had won, won the title, then quickly lost the title.

Is there any way to unfuck your brain, after someone fucks it really hard? Trying to get through some of the threads on this board feels equivalent to playing in the NFL for 15 years.

Well it's kind of silly to say he didn't care that he lost, because Cain vs Overeem is / was way more marketable than Cain vs Bigfoot. So in the end it probably means less money for the UFC and Dana, and if there is one thing Dana and the UFC care about, it's money. There is a reason this happened

Antonio Silva: $70,000 (no win bonus)
Alistair Overeem: $285,714.29
I do agree that Overeem will bounce right back though. He fought like a moron, partially due to underestimating Bigfoot and partially to make himself look better than he really is (therefore increasing his hype) and it backfired on him. And I'm sure he knows that and wont make the same mistake again.

Unless his camp full of fuckups and retards convince him it was a fluke and he was doing just fine.

Looks like UFC may be looking to put Cain vs Silva II and Overeem vs JDS together, on a big summer Las Vegas show accd to Meltzer #F4W #ufc

They should let Overeem juice just for the JDS fight. Everyone knows they want to see peak Overeem for that fight!

JDS vs Overeem is one of those match ups I have been dying to see.

I think JDS will handle Overeem np via better cardio and resilience.

As for Silva vs Cain II, I wouldn't wish that on anyone, much less a decent man like Silva. I've never seen a fight where it looked like a man fighting an animal as much as that fight.

Silva is a great fighter but I don't see how he's done anything to make me think Cain won't do this to him again. If anything Cain has gotten better since that fight given that he did the same thing to a much better fighter in JDS.

Where does Cormier fit in though? Didnt he work Silva already?

He might deserve a shot to be honest. I think Cormier would give Cain a decent fight.

Is everyone making sure to watch Bellator this season? Now that it's actually in HD it's even better. Last night's event was pretty damn good. My only complaint is what motherfucker decided to put it on Thursday night? The night that everything else worth watching is on. My DVR always ends up trying to catch the later showing of it, and since it always runs weird timed it comes in in the middle of some random fight and ends at some weird fuckin time. I have to ake it record extra to try and get everything when it loops back around and shit.

Fuckin' Bellator...

So am I the only one pissed that Rousey is headlining the PPV instead of Machida/Henderson? Really sucks that its not going to be a five round fight which probable helps Henderson

Well the excuse is that it's a title fight so it HAS to headline. Last I read the ticket sales for it were slow. Hopefully Rousey loses and this whole stupid experiment goes the fuck away.

In a vacuum I'd like Hendo to win, but big picture I think he has nothing for Jones so I guess I have to pull for Lyoto.

Rest of the card isn't nearly as stacked as we've been getting lately. Hell, the Fuel card next week is better overall I'd say. I'm still stunned they're doing Barao/McDonald on a Fuel card.

Seriously though, look at this card. That shit is amazing for a Fuel card. Other than Lee/Tezuka there's not a bad fight on there. It's not chock full of big names or TUF guys really, but it's full of exciting as fuck guys and a lot of relative UFC newcomers that are great to watch. Fuck, that's gonna be a good card.

I just cant picture Hendo getting knocked out. As for the card itself I think the fights are good, im just pissed Machida/Hendo is only going to be three rounds and I couldnt care less about the main event. Machida/Hendo should be great, Schaub/Johnson should end in KO, hopefully Faber loses, and I actually find Koscheck entertaining a long with Mendes
