Missed the fight originally, what was that a Holm-Rousey replay? Wish Johnny would've put up a better fight, he has always been cool to people here in the DFW area. With that range, superior striking ability, and higher athleticism that is just not even fair. Wish I could say all this is surprising, but just like every other sport MMA is starting to get a tier of better athletes all-around, and it's showing over the last couple of years with some of these dominate performances. I'm smart enough to never count Lawler out, but if Thompson fights with a solidified gameplan at range, lets be real. Another thing that I notice is, some of these newer guys just fight with dramatically better game plans, generally with high level striking backgrounds (boxing/kickboxing). Which could just be a product of obvious emphasis on your past experience/strengths.
I really didn't know shit about Thompson, that shit was pretty to watch.
