Ariel is the guy that people kind of watched grow up being a reporter or whatever you want to call it. His departure from Fox I can understand. They are doing their own thing over there at MMAFighting.com. What difference did it really make for Ariel to break the Lesnar news? I think it would make more people pay attention to any promos that the UFC was running that night.
To reiterate what I posted earlier though, Ariel has probably brought more real followers (maybe not, I dunno) and money to the sport than the people that they hold in the highest regard. If you are like me you go to sherdog and mmafighting after a big event and even go to those sites almost daily to stay up on the news. Though I don't watch his podcasts, the UFC is my NFL and Ariel kept me interested over the years. Fucking sucks man, and I'm more pissed about this than not letting Conor on UFC 200. When the public disagrees the company just turns the other cheek and it's just becoming a bigger trend than it has been in the past. I just don't know why it hasn't been one of the top stories on ESPN yet. Wait, nevermind. ESPN doesn't care about MMA.
