That's sorta what I took from that article. Rumors are Jon's punishment may not be as bad as a lot think but we'll see, his hearing is live right now at this moment lol.

One would have to think USADA is not going to like Jon saying that he never took the USADA tutorials and his management team did it for him and forged his signature. Basically CSAC is just fining him and leaving the rest up to USADA.

I'm pretty sure nothing will happen with USADA or it'll match the CSAC decision. I mean I could be wrong but awhile back there was an interview with Jeff Novitzky and he was basically defending Jon Jones lol. So 1 year from August means he could be back this summer. Wonder how long till he screws it up again.

Actually I think it was smart to say he never did the USADA stuff. Now it can be part of his "rehabilitation" and something he'll be able to show to the CSAC to demonstrate he's cleaned up his act, etc blah blah.

from what i gathered 1yr and 40% fine was the max the CSAC could do.
was some debate about if they take a cut of his ppv share
but i didn't watch much of the hearing

It’s astounding they can still make ppv work at all. They have to be sweating though, no one wants to buy these shit cards. Once a month for 50 dollars better have meaningful fights from top to bottom.

Think its been a good decade since that. Its interesting that Bellator can't even pull 50% of the Fox card numbers which are mostly considered shit. The brand is just that strong or people are not taking Bellator seriously, because I think they know it exists. Brand awareness isn't the issue.

Bellator 194 had avg total of 476k with the Mitrione Vs Nelson fight peaking with 775k
Bellator 192 had avg total of 770k with the Sonnen Vs Jackson fight peaking with 1.34 million

UFC Fight Night 126 (Cerrone Vs Medeiros) 893k viewers on FS1 with
Northcutt Vs Gouti fight being top draw with 1.07m viewers
