Jayrebb, your my guy, so let me break this shit down for you.
My information came from Dana White. White is the one who said he COULD come out of this a convicted felon. Now, the injuries suffered by the fighters don't seem that serious, but it's the ACT, and then the resulting fallout that will determine how this plays out.
He COULD have seriously injured someone on the bus the judge/prosecutors will say, and then the UFC is NOT going to help Conor, 2 of their fighters were injured to the point where fights had to be cancled.
Those fighters are still going to get their purse, but the UFC and Dana aren't happy, and don't care if Conor ends up a felon. So they aren't going to try and mitigate the damages for Conor, their going to try and make them and keep them as serious as possible.
The only thing Conor has going for him is that 20 million dollars in his bank account. Money talks bullshit walks, so maybe he walks away from this with no convictions or felonies but boy it's going to cost him.
And the UFC WANTS to cost Conor money, as the more endorsements and capital he loses, the less leverage he has in negotiations, which is better for the UFC.
And this shit was NOT a stunt. Conor flew him and like 20 of his bros on a private jet from Ireland, and timed it so they would arrive at the right time. The UFC didn't want Conor there nor planned on him coming.
It ended in cancled fights and their biggest star doing a perp walk. Give me a break.
Edit: or maybe the UFC is playing 4d chess and DID orchestrate this, but unknown to Conor, in order to bait him into this, which will now cost him a small fortune, cause him to lose face and prestige, which results in the UFC gaining power back.
